  1. Went to the site, plugged in my VIN, and the recall came up as “pending phased mailing” and then there is a recommendation to go to MySubaru which says there are no open recalls and everything is fine. Love, it’s what makes something something...
  2. Installed one of these little life improvers: SUBARU F551SAL100 Trunk Cargo Hook https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01601QD6C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_9A4gEbHF44G0R
  3. All good advice. FWIW, I was just on mySubaru.com and they listed the Guaranteed Trade In at 9600. I have a ‘10 with 6k less miles, same/similar body condition, same color. They aren’t taking my mods into account in that offer, and it’s Subaru-dealer specific (i.e., likely subsidized somehow). Also, I have NOT/NOT driven it like an adult.
  4. It likely will grow on you. I have 10-spoke Enkei’s which are also thin spokes, and I have appreciated them more the longer they’ve been on. I prefer your lip, though, looks sharp.
  5. Yesterday I took the grey lady out for a few runs up and down Hampshire and Morgan Counties in WV near our cabin. I had failed to get enough meat for hosting TG (first time ever that I could be accused of that particular infraction) so off I went to Farmer’s Daughter for beef and lamb. Some ridiculously fun roads out here. Annnnnnnd....clutch is slipping, particularly at or near WOT in 4th and 5th. Ugh.
  6. I have always suffered from a lack of bling. But things are gonna change! After I install the MCB I’m going to fully upgrade the LGT. 28 inch rims, hydraulics, neon underneath, extra glue-on hood and fender vents, the works. You know what they say - the master cylinder brace is the gateway mod...
  7. Just did the 3M headlight restoration. So completely worth it. Must do before listing.
  8. I heartily second the rear sway bar and other suspension upgrades. Big improvement with no threats to reliability or resale, IMO.
  9. Nice lighting on the exterior pics. Hope you get your price.
  10. I think by slip-on connectors he may have been referring to the same prob I recently had with my pipe - wasn’t a pipe problem per se, but a degradation of the factory install helpers on either end, which just need to be removed after they get weakened and create leaks. Thanks for finding that other thread. The proximity to the fan shroud might be the issue, but probably not a biggie. Can fashion some chafing gear if that starts happening.
  11. Thanks RikGT. I found an archived post by Elesedil a few years back in which they passed on a tech’s comment about fitment of the AVO charge pipe. Do you or does anyone here have any views on whether this one would rub/wear on other components due to shape/fit? I’d be quite interested if it’s not going to be problematic down the road.
  12. Bought a Hardrace master cylinder brace from Tegiwa Imports in UK via eBay - link below. Confirmed with vendor it is for LHD. Not in stock but they expect it should ship in a few weeks. It’s the copy of a Cusco part that isn’t available here, as discussed in other threads. Will advise once it arrives and I install it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/HARDRACE-BRAKE-MASTER-CYLINDER-STOPPER-1PC-FOR-SUBARU-OUTBACK-BR/202496920082?pageci=79e77f36-9fa1-4e3e-988f-893811b7b4e8&epid=15025702434
  13. Humble - what are the specs for your yellow LEDs in the DRL spots?
  14. Resolved a boost leak resulting from the clamp retention guides on the TB/IC coupler going bad. The tech at Mach V noticed it, removed the dry-rotted guides, and reclamped. OEM hose is still in good shape.
  15. I have the worst time uploading pics here. Saved it to my profile album and url follows. https://legacygt.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=2771&pictureid=12561
  16. Sitting at the dealer buying the wife a ‘20 Ascent as I write this. OTD is going to be $4k under sticker before trade for a red Premium. 4:45 on a Saturday afternoon in NoVa and every sales person is engaged and moving vehicles. Our sales person is doing our deal and one other at the same time. I have no idea why they feel the need to deal given the amount of inventory they’re apparently moving, but they are. Not complaining a bit.
  17. ^^ That body is in great shape. Found only a ding in the drivers door. No mileage (unless I missed it) and doesn’t seem to come up in inventory on dealer’s web site.
  18. Turbosmart Kompact BPV. Hope to have it installed later this month.
  19. Maybe I was doing it within 30 secs but I had key in hand when locking manually and no alarm.
  20. When exiting lock the doors electronically. Then unlock the drivers door manually and re-lock it manually from the inside. Exit and shut the door. Shouldn’t set alarm. Just had to do this while awaiting fob battery delivery.
  21. Cobb badge. Also, I think it’s sitting lower than stock. Dealer is just west of Philly.
  22. Not next, but alternately: just picked up a ‘12 Nissan Frontier SV, king cab, 4x4, 131k. Needed a kayak (x3) hauler for WV roads around the cabin that the LGT would not make it down, or shouldn’t be driven down in any case. Getting it serviced now to check off some things the PO passed on, mainly differential and transfer case refills and new plugs. Otherwise a solid truck for the 37 miles per year I’ll likely put on it.
