Installed a Whiteline KSB639 front STB. Snug fit.

I had to do a golf club delete when the kid arrived. Hope to reinstall eventually...

Picked up the lgt from Mach V this morning after walking off a redeye at Dulles. They installed an Invidia catted J-pipe and Q300 exhaust plus a Perrin 22mm adjustable RSB that I bought from them a few weeks ago. They also kindly installed the 93 octane stage 2 OTS Cobb map so I didn't have to fiddle with that, which I appreciated since I was a bit of a zombie. Drove out to the cabin in WV and really enjoyed the twisty roads with a more responsive throttle and sharper handling. Will have to get used to the sound of the 3-inch TBE on the highway. We'll see if it changes after a few hundred miles this weekend.

I was telling my wife how funny it was to me that some of the most impressive DIY engineers and car builders are on this site, people who can argue tolerances in the thousandths and offer DIY advice to rebuild an entire motor while having only a few photos as reference, and who can remember posts on this forum from 9 years ago, but who also didn’t know that the LGT steering wheel telescoped. I thought that was hilarious. And then... I had no idea the reason I couldn’t pop the trunk from inside the car was because there’s a valet defeat in the glove box. Stunning.

Holy crap that’s low. My ‘10 LGT has 44 and change and I thought I might be in the neighborhood of the lowest. Yikes.

You, sir, are an enabler of the first order. Have been reading those excellent build threads and now have plans for all of my lunch money until, and likely after, I retire.

Bought Invidia Q300 CBE and Perrin 22mm adj RSB. Install next week. Next step: Cobb AP V3 and, if the CBE isn't too loud for my neighborhood, catted DP to make sure it is. Will be first mods to this LGT or any car I've owned. Let the tortured fiscal rationalizations begin...
