  1. Just picked up a pretty clean second gen with 318k on original motor
  2. Is there anyone out there who is able to assist me in making a harness, in exchange for dollars of course. Also adding this list of things I need on first page. - downpipe - intercooler - radiator - alternator Ej20g
  3. I had some time today so I started putting brackets & hoses back on. I am going to need a bunch of vacuum lines for sure. http://i.imgur.com/4bXUVUih.jpg
  4. http://i.imgur.com/lIaqkN1h.jpg 1. To Body Harness? 2. To Body Harness? 3. 4. to injector? 5. to injector? 6 7. 8. to injector? 9. to injector? 10 11 12 13 14 15. 16. 17.
  5. I took a bunch of photos today so I could try to figure out what plug goes where, and what will need to be merged. If anyone wants to help me identity these things it would be much appreciated! These came with my EJ20k: http://i.imgur.com/lIaqkN1h.jpg http://i.imgur.com/trQyFMBh.jpg These are part of the OEM harness: http://i.imgur.com/lTxepvFh.jpg http://i.imgur.com/c3AxPfch.jpg http://i.imgur.com/kE3nzxTh.jpg
  6. I made this last night. Insane! http://i.imgur.com/fbMHNRvh.jpg
  7. The install process was pretty straightforward, as expected. The trickiest part was getting everything lined up. Total time spent actually working was less than an hour to get it all bolted together. This includes many breaks. Here is a more close up photo of the final resting place of seƱor ej20k. That is until it is strewn across the junkyard floor. http://i.imgur.com/YKJERkwh.jpg Nips over Its http://i.imgur.com/ivTWAYlh.jpg
  8. It's in there! Ok, I gotta get this thing running. I am accepting suggestions for how to accomplish this task.
  9. Tomorrow, noon, this is happening! Anyone near by and want to come hang?
  10. I am actually leaning the microsquirt route myself. I'm gonna need some assistance for sure.
  11. More random pictures! http://i.imgur.com/tbKshYvh.png http://i.imgur.com/qpDmgHgh.jpg http://i.imgur.com/HVnMekJh.jpg
  12. Well, the cover came off the Legacy so I guess i have no choice but to put the motor in. http://i.imgur.com/X9c1Dghh.jpg I picked up some front brakes from an 09 LGT: http://i.imgur.com/4jTOUF9h.jpg I got focused and refinished the calipers. I could have done a better job, I will probably sand down some parts and paint again. http://i.imgur.com/s9Ql4Fdh.jpg
  13. Considering dropping my motor in tomorrow. http://i.imgur.com/X9c1Dghh.jpg http://i.imgur.com/HVnMekJh.jpg
  14. Hahahahah thanks guy! The white volks I just tried on to see how it would look. I'm keeping the Advans for now, I want to get them refinished but it's so expensive, plus I haven't been able to find replacement Advan decals. The Rotiform boxes are a set of wheels for the Tiguan that I've been too busy/lazy to put on. I should just sell them, they take up so much space in the garage. http://i.imgur.com/e0hM0TEl.jpg

  16. Don't worry, it won't get dirty. Even with it sitting in the garage for the last year I still dust it off and wipe down once a week. Before I start driving it I will bring it over to my friend to do a full ceramic coating on the car and wheels. That should keep it nice and clean <3
  17. It looks like a car, and one day soon I will put that motor in. I was visited by an old friend who held te37s perfect for test fitting, and I could not say no:
  18. Damn I haven't updated in so long! I got super busy with work and traveling, plus it's been so ******* cold in VA until like two weeks ago. I haven't done much really, but I cleaned my motor up and painted some pieces. I need to put the fuel lines back on still: I also finally took the time to put my new clutch and flywheel on:
  19. Finally looks like a real car in my garage! I swear I will put the motor in before spring. http://i.imgur.com/nzciFeF.jpg
  20. Those things are cool. I had my car seat in the Outback for like the entire time I owned the car, so maybe like two years. Seat never recovered 366A7209 by docmonstereyes, on Flickr
  21. Yeah they are. What you gotta do is take the flares off, then cut an inch of the fender off, pull some and then mount the flare to just the top set of holes.
  22. I did eventually, but not initially. The flares don't add any space really, so what I did was have the fenders cut and pulled under the flares, and used only the top mounting holes. Hopefully that makes sense.
  23. 18x9.5 with probably 235/40zr18 on coils: http://i.imgur.com/jHQKL9dh.jpg 18x8.5 maybe 225/35zr18 on coils http://i.imgur.com/zK2SbUlh.jpg 18x8.5 with 245/45zr18 tires on LGT suspension: http://i.imgur.com/TZyizh.jpg The 18x8.5 definitely required the least amount of work. At this point I had coilovers and slightly rolled fenders and didn't have any real issues: http://i.imgur.com/DfWLth.jpg
