  2. ok, silver 05 LGT with a b4 badge today 11/3/08 on atlanta road. I KNOW you saw me cos you didnt rearend me lol. who is it? lost track of you on east/west.
  3. oh please.. chuck norris's computer wouldn't DARE crash.. its the only windows machine that never has. Its afraid to.
  4. oh snap.. I forgot about my window tint! 32% all around $200 the 1st time.. $34 when a window randomly shattered.. be careful with seatbelts not to chip the glass!
  5. I dont have any friends. no really.. I moved here 2 years ago all my friends live in other places.. I'm sure I could get an install party together (MAYBE.. ATL people seem to be really busy..) but I'd rather have a shop fix me up anyway.. that way if it breaks I have someone other than myself to turn to (and to blame. )
  6. careful with chase.. they wont leave me alone because of some other dude who wont pay for his car.. I keep telling them they have the wrong number but they call me a liar and hang up on me and do other nasty things.. just make sure you pay them or they'll harass you till your head explodes. I CAN do my own mods, I just dont like to.. especially now that my tools are limited.. where did you have everything done baru?
  7. seems like yall are spending surprisingly little.. are you including damaged parts in these? Cos.. I did.. I would have included my carputer and hids too but I took those out.
  8. hrmm.. cobb AP $700 cleared headlights, free. 1st replacement set of tires $400 2nd replacement set of tires $400 2nd set of rims $1000 $2500 so far..
  9. most likely a sinkhole. http://www.uwec.edu/jolhm/EH/Below/Images/sinkhole%20BIG.jpg it happens when porous rock like limestone gives and collapses.. iirc.. more pics of this kind of thing here: http://www.uwec.edu/jolhm/EH/Below/Matt%20Below%20-%20GEOG%20361-sinkhole.htm lots of on nom nom material potentially.
  10. wow.. look at the S-10.. it has a white sheet over it too.. not good...
  11. 05, more options for color, limited, unlimited, MT,EAT, etc.,blacked out headlights that makes all yall jealous, no annoying SI drive.. better location for the heated seat switches, and the woodgrain, although hideous, was far less hideous than later models. higher build quality in the radio despite no aux in or mp3 (jazzymod was cheap and easy) LGT meant something when the 2.5i didnt share the same rims as later model. info center had lots of functions and the interior ligth dimming override which subaru ditched in 06 no nagging tire pressure alerts or sensors
  12. what about mounting the gps antenna to the top of the bulge for the rear wiper and routing the wire through the hatch panels? It would still be inside the car but would have "sky" access. I haven't been in a wagon so I dont know how much room there is there.. but just a thought from a guy who owned an suv for 7 years.
  13. I dont have my setup anymore, my pics are on my pc which at the moment is in pieces. I used an M1-ATX with a VIA EPIA 13000 itx board in an "ampie" case.

  16. ah, coo, so I guess you get service @ SoG? I often make the trip up there when I need service. I like that dealer. Maybe we'll run into each other there one day or somethin. fck-u-I-had-cancer? thats what I got outof your other nick lol
  17. where are you located baru? you should fill out your profile more! I haven't been to a single meet in this car the last GA meet we had up in helen I lost my job the week before and had to bail
  18. yea its like 6 posts up
  19. I did exactly what you're doing vsick (tire well) I had an "ampie" carputer case. It came with 2 40mm fans on it that did something like 4 cfm each. I replaced them with 2 larger fans that did something like 11cfm each. They werent noisy with the car running and only had a hum wiht the car off. Even in the GA heat I never had a problem with heat. I made a mounting platform out of wood that replaced the factory foam tray so the pc wasnt in a box or anything, it just had the platsic and carpet cover over it. The wood provided support.
  20. oop, they said its a "green" pc.. sorry, no longer interested. j/k I have to give the "green" movement a hard time..I switched to CFLs before it was cool to do so.. cos it was CHEAP LIGHT. interesting unit tho, wonder if that fits in the glovebox and what the power requirements are.. if I didnt already have a laptop (and you could too from my previous post ) I might be more interested tho.
  21. afternoon yall, I just wanted to bring this to your attention in case you need any pieces parts or projects.. I have some laptops for sale... they would be great candidates for an on the cheap carputer. I actually kept one of them (laptop #5 which isnt mentioned on the thread ) for myself for a potential carputer. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=94799
  22. whats everyone doin labor day weekend?
  23. ^ what he said. I was actually using a VGA screen (Xenarc 700TSV) in my projects. It was a bit too tall but had no buttons that were required for the unit to function. It had a remote. The "guts" you're hacking up actually supports the top front of the dash. The internal dash support is the black plastic you see when you take the cubby pocket out that has the 2 holes in it. It runs from the transmission hump to the dash just above the cubby. Its a pretty big piece. I wouldn't want to hack that up. if I was at home and had nothing to do I'd take a picture of the piece I have and show you. heh, but I'm at work.
