  1. H-techs should be fine. It's the S-techs you want to avoid. Pinks are pretty stiff and a very modest drop. Then again, they're at least as expensive as the Ions. If you want inexpensive, check the Member Classifieds. Most of the really stiff springs have a very large drop (s-techs, swifts) because they have to be to make up for the fact that they drop you to the bump stops. If you need that stiff it's probably best to step up to coilovers. Cheers!
  2. Just to keep this up front for everyone. The "rear" bushing is Rallispec part number RST-2027R and is in fact a Subaru Group N item. The "front" one that ifbiker used is an '08 WRX STi/'09 WRX item and it's part number is what exactly? I see unclmat gave us a part # above but I think that's for the "rear" WRX/STi bushing that is a slightly softer version of the Group N one I listed above. Just trying to get crystal clear on all this so I don't end up ordering the wrong stuff. Cheers!
  3. You're welcome. I plan to get some Eibach's for my wagon soon too. Are you asking about what size shims? That I don't know. They're pretty cheap though so maybe get a couple sets just in case. I don't think you'd need anything more than 3/8". Don't forget longer studs if you use spacers! Cheers!
  4. Eibach's will work fine on a wagon. If the rear sags more than you like get some of THESE for it (scroll down a bit for the Legacy spacers). Seriously though, the Rallitek springs weren't designed for the wagon either but they tested them out to make sure they would work. There's NO difference between the sedan and wagon suspension. The Rallitek springs will drop you more than the Eibachs if that's what you're looking for. Cheers!
  5. Nice work Greg! I would love to retain the steering wheel controls!
  6. Glad to help/inspire. Windows mobile? Where's that thread? I don't have nearly as many miles on as you do but I plan on keeping it a while as well. Will probably wait for stuff to break before upgrading though <cough> turbo <cough>. Let's get this Aux working!
  7. I can't tell if that's a good thing or not. If not, my apologies. If so, you're welcome. SVX, that upper connector looked like a fit to me too. That's why I've got great hope this will work. Cheers! -Ian
  8. Very cool. Thanks for stepping up and doing some 'sperimenting Greg! We look forward to your conclusions! Oh yeah. Please post up even if it doesn't work! Cheers!
  9. I'm not quite sure I understood all that but I don't think I like what I hear. Damn.
  10. Flavio, Could you do us a favor and see if it's also got the harness that runs from the center armrest cubby to the stereo? We're still trying to track down the part number for this harness that includes the connections for the Aux input. Thanks!
  11. Gotcha. I may start calling some local wrecking yards to find out if they have an '07 or later on the lot and try to find this thing. I'll post back here if I find something.
  12. Did Jeremy ever get back to you with this? Thanks!
  13. Doesn't it have a harness attached or did someone beat you to it?
  14. I'm thinking I'd like to get the Aux going. I miss being able to control the iPod with the click wheel. The integration unit is too slow and cumbersome. Looking forward to figuring out what the harness part number for the Aux plug is. Maybe Opie can look it up for us?
  15. You can also get the Subaru iPod Integration kit for those HU's.
  16. It is a bit frustrating in how slow the reactions are when you're trying to navigate to a specific playlist, artist or album but if you use it like a juke box and just skip the stuff you don't want to hear it works great.
  17. Unfortunately, yes, you lose the ability to navigate the iPod when using the integration kits. This is all you see:
  18. Joel, You do know they make an iPod integration kit for the '07+ Leggy's now don't you? So...no need to do the Impreza one unless you already have one or have your heart set on one. If the latter's the case pm me as I have one I could part with. Cheers!
  19. Back of the '07 HU looks exactly like the '08 one shown above. Not sure what I'd use an Aux in for at this point but I may do this just 'cause. Oh yeah, I got my '07 HU and Impreza iPod interface kit with Subie bucks too.
  20. Nice find! Any idea what the part number is on that? Wonder how much it would be new. ;-) Keep us posted on finding the cable for it as well.
  21. Why? You planning on stealing yours? Just kidding. That's a good question. I would bet the GT models have the same HU. I'm pretty sure they had aux in's and Satellite radio. There are many references here to the model and part number. You could also read up on http://www.cars101.com for the functionality you're looking for. Cheers!
  22. You can toggle. If I read correctly you can set it to display the boost in the instant mpg setting or the temp setting. I can't remember if there's other choices.
  23. OK, this is bugging me. manuel = someone's name manual = of or done with the hands; of a machine or device worked by hand, not automatically or electronically Cheers!
  24. I can answer one of those questions for you. No, you do not need the OEM sub to install the stereo. It will work fine without it. Cheers!
