  1. Womp womp.... Went to install the tribeca sway bar last night and it doesn't fit my OBXT. Turbo cross member causes it to hit when I try to install it with the curve of the sway bar going over the tie rods. If I try to install it with the curve going under the tie rods, the sway bar hit the a arm end link mounts. I wonder it fits on the LGT Sedans because of a wider stance up front?
  2. FYI. Measured the Tribeca front sway bar where the bushings go. Reads 25mm on the nose.
  3. @Traildogck I'll measure the bar tonight and will post my results. I am not sold on AVO products either..... I think I mentioned above they were the only company that I was aware of at the time, but I am not surprised others have better and more creative solutions. With that said, I am glad you popped into this thread as I am interested in upgraded bushings for the front as I will be doing another bar on my brothers OBXT as long as we like the way this bar handles. I will be in touch to discuss bushing upgrades.
  4. +1 on the nickel copper. Super easy to bend and will outlast the car.
  5. Subaru just replaced the brake lines on my dads 06 outback under warranty. He had all the recalls done, but the wax coating is a band aid and SOA should be responsible for replacing brake lines that fail even after the band aid was put on.
  6. I think the sti sway bar is hollow so it's not as rigid and strong as the solid bars like whiteline, avo and cusco. The tribeca front bar is hollow too, so even tho it's 25mm it will perform like a 22 or 23mm solid bar. But for the price, you can't beat it. AVO is the only sway bar mount kit I've seen for the legacy and outback wagons. The whiteline braces you speak of I think are for the Impreza wrx/sti platform.
  7. I believe the sway is out of an 06 Tribeca and the ends links are from an 04 Fozz. But I just used the part numbers I supplied above.
  8. Rear sway bars are different for the wagons. As far as I know, you will have to go after market to find a upgraded rear sway bar to go along with this bar. I am currently looking at AVO, Whiteline and Cusco. All of them are solid bars but I think the Cusco is 21mm vs the AVO and whiteline being 20mm. Make sure whatever you do, you buy the AVO sway bar mount kit otherwise you will break the sway bar mounts off the car.
  9. Fixed my fuel pump housing crack. Found the crack by connector so I swapped the top section out with one that I have from my parts car. No more fuel leak when the tank is full and hoping no more P0457 CEL.
  10. This is the FSB setup. The Forester end links are beefy and last a long time. A subaru mechanic I know recommended this swap and used the Forester end links without issue. Here is the link for the bushings I ordered. https://www.energysuspensionparts.com/9.5129_front
  11. My local dealer gives a great discount on parts, so the sway bar (20401XA00A) is $56 and the forester endlinks (20470SA011) were $24 each. I bought energy suspension 25mm bushings for 20 shipped. Otherwise you can buy the Tribeca bushings, but they need to be trimmed to fit.
