  1. Check out the photos in this thread http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/bc-br-series-coil-over-setup-123639.html One or two of the studs in the tophat had to be relocated in order to use the camber plates that came with the BC coils. As far as fitting the stock tophat onto BC coils, I don't know if it's a direct bolt on or not. I have no personal experience with BC so I can't say.
  2. not a personal check, but a cashiers check would make things happen pretty quick.
  3. If someone showed up at my house with $20-22k, I'd sell mine in a heartbeat, lol
  4. There are bag over coil options, but those airlift struts would be much easier and more reliable.
  5. Well Subaru didn't put stainless lines on the STi when they gave it Brembos...
  6. Spoken by someone who wouldn't be caught dead at an Autox, lol. Buffalo has the only good site left. RIT is small and go kart tracks are only good for go karts and miatas.
  7. You don't need SS lines for the Brembos, but they couldn't hurt either.
  8. All the good autox sites in my area got shut down, so I'd rather have a plush ride than a sporty one at this point. Already have compressors, tanks, and a management system, just need the struts!
  9. Okay, I just actually looked at those bagriders links, didn't realize they already came with strut tops. The rears should bolt right up, the fronts would just need one of the studs moved, that's easy enough. Shit, if I had the cash lying around I'd probably do it, lol
  10. I dumped 2k+ on a set of 08+ WRX coilovers before anyone else knew if they'd fit or not. They did. Several other folks have installed various +08 WRX setups on their 5th gens and they fit. You'll have to use the stock strut top mounts, that's about it. If for some reason you absolutely had to have camber plates up front, a set of WRX ones could be made to fit pretty easily by drilling a hole or two.
  11. If the bags will already fit an 08+ WRX, they'll fit ours, why waste time with a test fit? lol, it's not like we need some fancy extra parts to make it happen.
  12. Our cars have more weight up front, so stiffer springs up there to compensate. EDIT: I know this isn't a pic of a 5th gen, but close enough to illustrate the point. The engine even hangs in front of the front axle. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v307/Rutch/CarPics/LegacyGT/1972-subaru-leone-the-first-subaru-vehicle-with-symmetrical-all-wheel-drive-technology_100381818_m.jpg
  13. Either way you have to go with redrilled rotors for the rear, but I think the brackets are only required if you get 04-07 STi rear brembos. Pretty sure the 08+ STi rears will bolt right on other than the rotors.
  14. Do we even know if they're the same as our regular STi Brembos? If not, finding rear rotors could be a royal pain.
  15. Just FYI, this install is for a 5th gen LGT. Not an 05 LGT...
  16. aaand the irony of the thread is ruined.... lol, was fun while it lasted
  17. I have these on my 5th gen. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v307/Rutch/CarPics/rotaDPTmattebrz1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v307/Rutch/CarPics/rotaDPTmattebrz3.jpg I like that this thread is full of chat and photos of aftermarket wheels not on 5th gens (except one actual photo of a car)

  19. What MikeNH said, most of europe actually drives on the correct side of the road
  20. Well, isn't China left hand drive like the US? If so I'd think the master cylinder would be on the same side as the USDM models. We'll be able to tell more when we see pictures.
  21. If you're in Italy sure, but the majority of the people on this forum are talking about USDM cars and none of that applies to us. 13FLGT's location might say Italy, but he's got a USDM car and I'm pretty sure if they let him bring a USDM car over, then it only has to follow USDM regulations. The military can get away with things like that.
  22. I don't see why he'd have to do the whole washer/bumper swap unless the washer is actually built into the headlight...
