  1. Any idea how high the boost got up to when the P0108 came up? This is one of those times a boost gauge with peak memory would be handy... Only times I experienced boost creep and P0108 were when I floored it in 6th gear around 60-65mph on the freeway. Downshifting solved that problem, except for the times when I forgot, lol
  2. I mean, when I was on the stock turbo with e85 I was running close to the limits of the stock MAP. Hit the P0108 once or twice, but never on the dyno. 3bar would at least give the ECU a little more room to see what's going on
  3. Actually, a lot of nav systems and even regular radios get a VSS (vehicle speed signal) pulse. Pretty sure at least the 2010 did.
  4. I think I drove around more with this screen showing than the actual map. Got so used to going into this display I could do it without even looking at the screen
  5. GS hasn't come up with anything yet. Still at least a couple of weeks out.
  6. I think it's less of the cold actually affecting the MBC itself, but more how turbos just seem to generate a lil more boost when they're fed extra cold & dense air.
  7. Unfortunately that's just how it's going to be with the way the EBCS cycles. MBC all the way.
  8. Vague post is vague. Can you be more specific about what's missing/wrong with the BC's? Or what "was getting bad after 4,000kms" on the swifts? I think you're going to get some better suggestions if people more of have an idea what you're looking for.
  9. two 2.25" pipes will still flow more than a single 3" pipe, should be fine.
  10. The firewall makes a great strut tower bar, an aftermarket one isn't really needed, lol
  11. I wonder if mine'll ever show up somewhere, pretty sure the dealership sent it to auction...
  12. The one recently in this thread isn't even a GT, just a pep boys hoodscoop probably stuck on with double sided tape. A 2.5i faking the funk.
  13. I would probably stay out of boost if it's just supposed to be a base map...
  14. If you stick the union in a vice before busting out the dremel, nothing should go flying. Safety first! A reinforced cutting wheel should make quick work of it.
  15. I wouldn't even bother worrying about it in case of warranty work, unless you're going in for clutch issues, they'll never even see the delete. If anything, the delete is going to remove clutch issues.
  16. a GT without an AP is like a day without sunshine, lol
  17. http://images.sodahead.com/profiles/0/0/2/4/1/7/1/2/3/he-mad-91028347673.jpeg Seriously, find a desolate back road, set launch control to 3500-4000RPM, and practice! Having LC on makes things more consistent and repeatable. Turn off traction control because when you do it right, the wheels will spin. TC makes a launch feel all "herky-jerky" because it keeps cutting the throttle.
  18. You need brake lines for the 5th gen LGT, STi ones won't work. The rotors probably aren't going to fit unless they're aftermarket ones that are dual drilled 5x100-5x114.3
  19. No broken axels here, and I've got a stack of timeslips too, lol I don't think anyone's beat my 12.5 yet either, at least not a stock turbo 5th gen...
  20. You'll probably have to add more fluid and bleed the lines out.
  21. Nah, they just take it off the knockoff production line and don't bother giving you the hardware, lol Those Chinese are crafty...
