Pretty sure after 2005, all NA engines are pretty similar but I could be wrong, one thing that comes to mind is maybe they have Dual vs single AVCS gears? EDIT: by everything after 2005 I meant until 2011, as I think the NA engines all went to the FB platform.

I run 215/50R17 on stock GT rims in the winter.

Ordered 4 of the 65w H7 bulbs from Daniel Stern, I also ordered a set of the new Philips Xtreme Vision +150%. I have a LUX meter and will be comparing the two.

my 05 was damaged when I replaced the clutch at 160,000km which is why I needed the kit.

I would do the TSK snout repair kit at the same time. I ran a Spec LWFW and STAGE2+ clutch for 6 years! Loved it but since i'm not racing my wagon anymore I decided to go with a OEM SMFW and Exedy stage 1, its much better for daily driving but I'll have more of an opinion once its broken in.

Few questions, is there anything I need to do with the clutch fork and slave cylinder before I remove the transmission? Also what electrical connectors and shift linkages need to come off? I can take pictures if you need.

going to start the job today, ended up buying a transmission adapter for my floor jack and some 6ton jack stands just to keep things a bit safer.

I say go for it, I would think it would be best to learn how to tune/program. Maybe look for a FB manual transmission as well.

I have a couple of Jacks and a small wooden pallet, goign to try that!

Center diff is broken on mine, its a JDM 5spd with 4.11 ratio. Thanks Max, ill confirm part numbers on that site.

Sorry forgot to mention its a manual, clutch is still going strong, only about 80k on it.

Sourced a JDM transmission for my 05 lgt, going to attempt to swap it at home in my garage, is there any write ups or advice I can get? Also is there anything I can do in there in the mean time in terms or maintenance? Thanks!

if JMP build me a Vf40, would I need a retune?
