195,000Km Cobb stage 2. Catless up and down. Process West top Mount. Replaced my starter and passenger valve cover gasket last year.

Awesome build. Definitely keeping my eye on it.

Electrical isn't my forte so if paying a pro do build a harness that is guaranteed to work I would go with that option.

I did this job last night. Passenger side was leaking. Was a really tight fit because I did not raise the motor. I used permatex ultra grey and so far no leaks. I was having trouble keeping the gasket in place in the valve cover so I used a little bit of the ultra gray between the gasket and valve cover so it would stick a little and not pop out.

Little update. Had it on the hoist today but couldn't find anything wrong really. Found some leaves or something between the downpipe and turbo so maybe it was that. It's leaking oil from both valve covers and oil cooler but that's nothing new. Degreased and washed the engine bay and hopefully that's the end of the stink. I've never changed the cabin filter though so I guess maybe that's next. Heard it's a pain in the ass on 05 models

At first I thought it was an exhaust leak. I am 95% sure it's not burning oil from the turbo. I'll find out today hopefully

195,000km Still on Cobb stage 2 catless. Had a weird burning smell on a highway trip this weekend noticed the smell was coming from the passenger side when I stopped to check. I remember the inner cv boot was starting to leak and maybe it finally let go and got on the down pipe wrap.

In Australia you dont have Airbags in the seat? Also could you PM me how much you paid for the seat and where you bought it? Thanks

I would love one of those for my drivers seat. Does it delete the airbag that's why yhe harness Is needed

Almost at 190,000KM Had to replace the passenger side OCV this summer. Still runs great on Cobb Stage 2 and barely burns any oil, wonder if I should bother doing a compression and leak down test?

Will this be mounted to the roof rack or hatch?

Ok what wiring and to what pins? How do you "deal" with the immobilizer? Do I need a new key? New ignition?

Enlighten us then. I haven't seen a DIY on how it's done.
