Alright so I reset the ECU, drove to Canadian tire and put 2 bottles of seafoam in the tank. Had fun on the icy roads home. Checked codes when I got home and they were gone, DAM was 1.0 Just weird occurrences I'm guessing?

Would Seafoam in the tank work?

I replaced the plugs when I had the intake manifold off to replace the o rings and gas line clamps Not sure about mileage, maybe 60,000km, this car isn't driven the easiest.

Was driving last night, -20C first couple minutes of my trip could smell fuel and had a missfire, once the engine warmed up it went away, the CEL was not on the dash but when I scanned it with my Accessport the P0304 Showed up. Plugs are 6 years old, time to change? Our weather has been to extreme cold to warm in a matter of weeks. Fuel issues? I barely drive the car anymore so maybe just a hiccup?

Since I'll have my legacy off the road for a few months while I swap transmission and front end. I'll be putting in JDM lights that already have HID low beams but I want all other lights to match brightness and colors. Throwing around ideas on maybe piecing together and selling full LED conversions for Legacys. Any want or interest? More so can someone school me on LED lighting and if headlight conversions are a wanted thing in the community?

Theres something wrong with the beam pattern on my 05 legacy. Currently has Sylvania Xtravision bulbs in it. Should I swap bulbs to see if it changes? It has a weird dark spot and you can clearly see theres a missing light when driving.

I still have not yet pulled the engine apart.

Will any ej257 piston work? I've been told that 05 lgt heads wont work with certain pistons

So I bought a 2012 EJ257 short block. Very low mileage around 15,000km. It was replaced under warranty due to oil burning because of a failed injector that washed out a cylinder. When the oil pan was pulled there was brass and other particles found in it. Is this something I can repair at home with new rotating assembly? Also will my 05 lgt heads and accessories bolt on? Thanks! P.S. my 05 lgt is still running strong at 240,000km even though I don't DD it anymore.

Just used a gates kit couple years ago, I would not recomend using the Gates water pump. I ended up grabbing a Aisin one.

awesome, I ordered primitive spacers as well. Hoping I can fit 225/50/R18 on my stock SpecB rims with 25mm spacers

05 gt is 4.11 gears, I believe 06 and up is 3.90

How are the super sports in the mud?
