  1. Weather is getting better here and I had a chance to finally take it out for a short drive. I forgot how fast this thing is, yet it's so comfortable to just cruise around. I am currently talking with Driveshaft Shop on getting rear specB axles made, along with front LGT axles. And since I'm overpowering my viscous center diff, and it cannot be swapped out with an STI unit, I will be swapping my 6mt for an STI DCCD 6mt with LGT 5th and 6th. I also have a special motor in the works, but that will most likely wont come until next season, since I don't want my car to be down this year. Details to come after it's built I haven't done much during the winter, other than a lithium battery that weighs in just under 3lbs, and I replaced my nav unit with an Android tablet. http://www.strizzyphoto.com/photos/i-RskZx9G/0/XL/i-RskZx9G-XL.jpg http://www.strizzyphoto.com/photos/i-6VQtC4k/0/XL/i-6VQtC4k-XL.jpg
  2. Aim them correctly. If I wanted to, I can use mine as driving lights.
  3. Went on the dyno today for some tuning changes. http://www.strizzyphoto.com/photos/i-bhStw5t/0/L/i-bhStw5t-L.jpg [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6SDTLA1fyE]Subaru Legacy spec.B dyno pull 11-18-2013 - YouTube[/ame] Made about 20 more wheel torque. http://www.strizzyphoto.com/photos/i-KN2D2RJ/0/O/i-KN2D2RJ.jpg The motor has been running strong, and seems to take everything I've thrown at it.
  4. Spotted this guy at GLD last night. http://www.strizzyphoto.com/photos/i-8Q8FQnB/0/XL/i-8Q8FQnB-XL.jpg
  5. Prime the turbo by either pulling the fuel pump fuse or holding the throttle to the floor and crank the engine for about 30 seconds. (Holding the throttle to the floor in all modern drive-by-wire cars stops the injectors from firing)
  6. Fine.... I'll post it. http://www.strizzyphoto.com/photos/i-stddQr4/0/L/i-stddQr4-L.jpg And the video against the Mustang I beat (he also red lighted): [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7r8DEHwQcPA]GLD 9 27 2013 - YouTube[/ame]
  7. Any updates as to when we'd be able to use both channels on the aux board? I'd like to get my fuel pressure to display on the gauge.
  8. New time slip. I'm on the left again. http://www.strizzyphoto.com/photos/i-stddQr4/0/XL/i-stddQr4-XL.jpg
  9. I don't have my alignment specs, but it definitely isn't set up for drag racing.
  10. Just spinning the tires in first gear. I didn't have a chance to really get a feel for the car, but I think launching a lower RPM will help quite a bit. The run prior this one, I launched around 6500rpm and spun way to much, getting a 11.8 at 122. This run I launched around 5800rpm and still spun in first. It also didn't help that the left lane was poorly prepped. Everyone in that lane was having traction issues that day.
  11. Made a couple passes at the Midwest Subaru Shootout in Byron, IL yesterday. This was my last (3rd) pass. I was having traction issues coming off the line and feel I could possibly dip into the 10's if I had some more time dialing in my launch. I'm on the left (car 679). http://www.strizzyphoto.com/photos/i-LFBLM6J/0/XL/i-LFBLM6J-XL.jpg
  12. I'm on the left. Just did this today. 13. Here are some engine bay pics. Sorry for the camera phone quality. I'll get some better pics when I get some time. http://www.strizzyphoto.com/photos/i-8cwQtxH/0/X2/i-8cwQtxH-X2.jpg http://www.strizzyphoto.com/photos/i-Gphkm5V/0/X2/i-Gphkm5V-X2.jpg http://www.strizzyphoto.com/photos/i-2KGfkN3/0/X2/i-2KGfkN3-X2.jpg
  14. The main problem with Prosport is the gauges and electronic components. I had an oil pressure sensor left over from an old Prosport gauge that stopped working. I hooked up the sensor, and it's been working flawlessly for some time now.
  15. It works with PLX AFR, but for oil pressure, you just need a Prosport oil/fuel pressure sender and wire harness.
  16. The GTX3076R is a 65lb/min turbo. I'm not revving past 7.5k, since there was no gain to be had above that. My heads are built for an 8k rev limit
  17. I got their 3-bolt up pipe and downpipe, and their intake piping kit. I didn't use all the pieces of intake kit, since it was designed around using their FMIC. I'm running AVO's. I never really ran the stock location with E85 to its full potential, but compared to running on 100oct at stock location, I put down 70whp more being rotated.
  18. Looks like I'm going clutch shopping. My Exedy twin disc no longer likes to hold after launching. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wg0cv-vkBR8]Slipping clutch - YouTube[/ame] Not too sure what to get yet. I'm slightly hesitant on a triple disc, as I get slightly annoyed at the fact that my friction point on my twin disc almost constantly changes on me. Sometimes it's just off the floor, then 10 minutes later it's barely at the top. Right now, I'm checking out ACT 6 pucks.
