  1. Tomioka Racing. http://www.tomiokaracing.com The 20g behaves much like a stock turbo and spools up right around 3300-3400rpm.
  2. Update: I dropped the car off to my builder today, as all parts are in and the motor is scheduled to be back from the machine shop tomorrow morning. Tear down will start tomorrow along with the shortblock being assembled. Everything is expected to be mostly installed by the end of this week. Then next week it gets its initial break-in on the dyno. After that, I will be taking it a bit easy with just a base map, then going balls out on an E85 tune. I'm still debating on getting headers. My tuner is saying I am looking at about more 50-60 tq with headers running E. But I'm not liking the price of the ones I like. If I go with the headers, I will be selling my DAMD steering wheel I have on order from the group buy. Pics will be added if I find time to drop by the shop during the install.
  3. Not sure what I'll be running for boost; that will be for my tuner to figure out, as it will be his E85 tune with this turbo. I think he is more excited about tuning it for E85 than I am to get this project completed. He was literally jumping up and down. He tuned the new 18g (same company as the 20g I'm getting) that put down around 340whp on pump gas at I think 18psi (or it could have been 20). No ewg for me, as this will be my DD and don't want to go too crazy with it. At the most, I'll do headers within the year. But who knows, maybe I will eventually do an ewg plumbed back into the DP (I don't want to be a loud attention whore). GT35R: maybe if I went front mount and went with a stroker (which I really wanted to do, but the cost just wasn't justifiable).
  4. Currently not even on the market, yet. Very soon though. Once everything is up and running I'll give the name.
  5. Parts have been ordered and I'm looking at about 2 weeks for the built block to ready for install. I opted out of getting headers for now and am going with a newly developed 20g which gets its own housing, rather than being stuffed into a vf40. I will be the second person to have it, but first to run it on E85. They are estimating just right around 400whp with this turbo on stock headers . Overall, I am actually under the cost I was expecting to spend on this little build. Now, I'm just trying to talk myself out of getting cams...
  6. I absolutely love the front LSD. It is the best mod I have done to the car so far (even better than stage 2). It completely transformed how the car handled and cornered in a very good way. I don't know why Subaru didn't do it in the first place.

  8. I'm in Woodridge everyday at all hours of the day. 75th St., Woodward Ave., Lemont Rd. (I live right off Lemont Rd just before the Lemont bridge). You may or may not have seen me around in either my 08 QSM spec.B with exhaust and tints or black lifted Jeep Wrangler with a loud obnoxious exhaust (only at WOT though). Though you are right, LGTs seem non-existent in these parts of town...
  9. Only if that's you in your avatar I had a heart stopping near miss. My friend said I came about an inch from smacking the rear end into the boards during a drift...
  10. Here's a few more: http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/strizzy123/LGT/147.jpg http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/strizzy123/LGT/191.jpg http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/strizzy123/LGT/092.jpg

  12. I rarely see any LGTs on the road when I'm driving. And I drive a lot too(10,000 miles in the past 5 months).
  13. Read the stickies: http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48123
  14. I can't quite make it out, but is that film or paint on the tail lights? What color film/paint? I am looking to do the same, but don't want black/dark tail lights.
  15. My pinstripe came "dealer installed." I was upset at first because it is actually painted on, but I like it a lot now.
  16. Thanks:icon_smil I just started working with RAW, so bear with me a bit. Few more shot from about an hour ago (I tried getting the pinstripe to show as much as possible with the low light): http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/strizzy123/LGT/_MG_0684x.jpg http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/strizzy123/LGT/_MG_0688x.jpg http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/strizzy123/LGT/_MG_0690x.jpg (untouched) http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/strizzy123/LGT/_MG_0689.jpg Also, what front lip do you have?
  17. Thanks, I'm still not sure either. I'm thinking I should've gone more red, so I might end up re-doing them. Is that a good or bad thing? I might. If not, I'll take some shots tomorrow.
