Im so attached to mine...after its been sitting since summer and hoarded alot of nice parts. I still feel that I want to keep her. We shall see. Getting this Honda Accord and about to be 40 changes alot. At least my 4 year old daughter misses the vvvrrroom vvvrrrooom or subaru as she says. She appreciates turbos and external wg sounds lol. Ill say I regret selling my 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer that I built and went through 2 different turbo setups. I know Ill regret selling the leggy. But then again, who knows. Sometimes we let go and just remember the good memories with our cars. Good luck with your decision, not an easy one for sure.

If you consider parting out and maxing out your monies...i would definitely take the complete 6 speed transmission swap for my 08 lgt. otherwise im just waiting after this winter if any pops up for sale or Ill be posting/parting my car as well lol. can you rebuild my 5 speed too? lol Im hoping to score a 6 speed trans after this winter possibly. if not Ill go the rebuild route. i cant let her go just yet. the e85 is just way too much fun and watching peoples reactions when ewg screams especially in an old man brown legacy is priceless

Started it up today and let her idle until the cooling fans cycled twice. Oh how I miss her. After this winter Im hoping to find a 6 speed swap, sti or spec B 6 speed and I will keep her. In the meantime, I am actually enjoying maintaining the Honda Accord and how quiet it is. Shows that im aging lol.

I had dibs on the trans and was going to drive down to get it but cant blame him for selling the car as is. That's what I get for putting all my peanuts in 1 jar since February or March if I recall. You should be fine running whichever brand you want. I have perrin ELH, grimmpseed EWG uppipe and invidia catless DP to q300. No issues mating them all up. Like mentioned grinding the divorced part of the DP to clear the flapper is all that was needed and a bung for my wideband o2 sensor. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

Finally decided to tow Dirty Penny as I wait for her 6 speed transplant...going to be picky and wait for a spec b 6 speed until spring, if nothing pops up, I will sell her as is and get out of the turbo modding game and get into an Acura lol. Crossing my fingers for a 6 speed of course but only time will tell.

well my 5 speed took a dump...me thinks... was going to get some dinner the other night and car wont even reverse or go in 1st either. car wont roll when in neutral. glittery and sparkly on the dip stick. no signs of leaks, no issues all week or any strange sounds. put in on jack stands today and will start removal in 2-3 weeks when i come back from san diego. darn.. not in a rush to fix it but waiting on a member here in AZ for the complete 6 speed swap hopefully. maybe time to do major part out...decisions decisions
