  10. Looks like next vehicle will be a 19 Subaru Ascent. Mrs and I had mind set on 17' Honda Pilot awd touring but dealership didnt want to make the deal. 40k out the door was a fair offer on our end i thing but it being 2nd week in january vs end of december is probably why it was a no go. The 2 Toyota dealers we went to were rude so no business for them. Kinda excited about the Ascend but scared its the 1st gen and recalls will happen. Oh wait who am i kidding its a Subaru, recalls are normal lmao. Keeping her 11 legacy and my 08 lgt. In the meantime we will be upgrading master bathroom and flooring in our home. And ill be building my car once we get our 3 row suv woot woot! Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

  15. The only way my wife would drive a minivan is if i trade my lgt or sell it. We all know that isnt happening. Lol...i want the minivan though. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  16. My lgt is nearly 10 years old. My wifes leggy is 7 years old. Definitely time to buy new. We are looking at 3 row suvs and test drove a 17 Ford Explorer, 18 Acura MDX, 17 Honda Pilot Elite, 18 Toyota Highlander Limited. Surprised of the Explorers acceleration and torque, but a twin turbo 4 cylinder just doesnt seem right. Its definitely a fast suv but touchy gas pedal and always get pushed back into the seat. Love the interior and space and ventilated seats and quiet cabin. Acura dealer was just too aggressive and pushy salesman and management. As for the ride we liked it but felt heavy and tight. Honda guy didnt have any knowledge on what he was selling but we like the ride and seemed spacious out of the bunch. Toyota Highlander won us over. Might have to build an 18 since not many 17s really left around. Most likely will go to another dealer since the salesman seemed to want to build an 18 like we wantes with ventilated seats and a 2nd row bench. Je said only captains chairs come with ventilated front driverand passenger seats. We are not in a rush but seem to havepur minds set. The Cx9 and Durango was on our minds but havent test drove them yet. Pathfinder doesnt look appealing either. Jeep Cherokee looks nice but family has had badluck with jeeps in general. Your input is appreciated. Highlander seems to be our pick so far. Luckily there are 3 toyota dealers here in vegas. Sadly subaru would be #1 pick if it wasnt a 1st gen 3 row. There will be too many kinks although we like how it looks we just wont wait for it. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  17. Here is the invoice on my wife's 11' legacy that had just over 100k miles and was able to get it repaired no charge. Faulty trans torque converter. Anyone know what the actual charges would be? Im guessing torque converter alone is just under 600 bucks... Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  18. I have an 08 LGT and wifey has 11 legacy. We were thinking of waiting for the Ascend but being 1st gen its scary to see what recalls will be. Leaning towards Mazda CX9 or even a Yukon depending if she is comfy with its size. Definitely wanting that 3rd row. My 08 becomes racecar status and 11 becomes my daily. Thats if and when baby #2 happens. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  19. Wife's 11 leggy has 100300 miles and mustve died 100 times when coming to an abrupt stop. Took in to the stealership and they serviced it right away after i test drove it with them. So far so good. We got a 17 forester as a loaner but steering felt way too sensitive. So far after 100 miles all is well. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  20. In glad the wifey and i didnt pull trigger on dondge minivan or ford explorer. This right here is appealing to us. Thank you Subaru for a 3rd row. Wife says about how many recalls will this have lol. Cant wait to see it at stealership and take a test drive with our 1 year old daughter. Her 11 legacy will be my daily and my 08 lgt will be the weekend warrior. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  21. It depends on how long you will want that 400+whp. 1 year, 2 years or longer? My goal is 400whp as a daily and knew i was going to get supporting mods etx. This fall will be 2 years since ive been tuned on the steamspeed stx71. I must admit i am patient though. After getting stage 2 tune (stock turbo, elh, fuel, ebcs pump, intake, cobb ap) i enjoyed it for 1 year before i pulled the trigger on a 400whp stx71 ewg, ID1000s and a retune. Now that the 2 year mark is nearing i am going to pull the trigger on a e85 tune then see how long that will last. Built Shortblock soon to get and then retune again. If i could turn back time i would get custom vf52 by jmp or reuben at socalporting and probably would be a happy camper. But i am always hungry for a but more power and like being a sleeper. Who knows...i may decide on getting a different turbo later down the line. Especially after seeing some the BCP x500 turbo plots. I plan on staying stock location. Decisions decisions...hope this helps you some. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

  25. im late to the this party and with 100k miles i think its time to upgrade my suspension for my DD leggy. im looking to get these bilsteins $699 for all 4 corners What springs are best suited for these besides sti pinks as i dont want to wait for shipping from japan? thanks much for your input... was looking at rallitek springs, i dont want more than a 1" drop, its my daily and just want something a bit stiffer. was waiting patiently for used set but might as well go new Brand New Set of Bilstein Monotube Strut Assemblies and Shock Absorbers, 2 Fronts and 2 Rear | * Includes: > 1 - Bilstein # 35-118305 Front Left Strut, 36mm > 1 - Bilstein # 35-118312 Front Right Strut, 36mm > 2 - Bilstein # 24-118323 Rear Shocks, 46mm Bilstein B6 Heavy Duty monotube
