Last virus I got was from a Photoshop crack in like 2002.
Pornhub doesn't have viruses. Or so I hear. [emoji38]
You don't do it that way. Each person is on their own computer.
It's less of a family thing, and more of a friends thing. My wife will be playing on her computer, my brother-in-law either on the one he has in our guest bedroom or at his place 45 minutes away, and one of his friends up in NH. When I still thought gaming was the cool thing to do, I'd do LAN parties and shit like that... but then I realized I'm not really a fan of gaming, and now I don't.
I just mostly use the big names now. Crucial, Samsung, Kingston, WD, maybe SanDisk or PNY. When a Crucial MX500 is $35 for 250 GB and $100 for 1 TB, it doesn't really make sense to try to save a buck at the risk of losing data IMO.
All my data is on a QNAP 4 bay NAS with three 2 TB Micron SSDs in RAID 5, and a fourth running as a hotspare in case any of them fails. Plus I have IDrive for cloud backup.
