  1. LOL, okay, I missed the second date change. Maybe I'll even have my Stage 1 tune done by then!
  2. Wait, I thought it was tomorrow? Maybe I'm just retarded though...
  3. Sooooooo... I discovered the MickeyD2005 Stage 1 map last night. Loaded it on tonight and I'm getting overboost CELs... D'oh!
  4. LOL. I can come on the 14th. Maybe I'll have my 2008 stereo by then!
  5. It probably is true that the LGT crowd is more mature than the WRX crowd, but they can't all be bad, right?
  6. Hahahaha. Back when I had my 1990 Legacy wagon (98whp of pure EJ22 fury!) and was in Salt Lake City, I went to a NASIOC canyon run. It was cool. But that was four years ago... maybe I've matured and NASIOC has stayed the same?
  7. Nice! Have you ever been to the White Marsh NASIOC mini-meets? I'm thinking of going to this coming one.
  8. I agree on the hot redheads thing. Don't tell her though. Also, I'm happy with her, so I might look at the cute redheads, but I won't touch. She's blond, but that's about as close as she gets to Amy Smart. I'm planning on doing everything myself, because I'm a cheap/broke bastard. Plus, I've done like 4 clutch jobs on my G20 (well, two on my G20, one on my brother's, and a flywheel install on mine) and one trans swap already, so I can do that. And a 90k service isn't hard, besides inspection of the timing belt (well, it's probably not hard, but my G20 has a timing chain, so I've never done it). I haven't gone to a shop for anything besides getting my exhaust welded up in over three years and I don't intend to start now! I'm located in the Towson area, BTW. ZIP code 21204, off the Ruxton Rd. exit from I-83.
  9. Pretty much. 40 hour a week job (at least I didn't go into IT consulting -- that would be a lot more), cousin's wedding on the 7th in Gainesville, VA, reception for same cousin plus his younger sister who got married in early July in Auburn, NY from the 21st-23rd, girlfriend may be coming down from Boston from Aug. 29 through Sept. 3, then we'll be flying up to Boston together the evening of the 3rd and I'll stay until the 7th. And somewhere in there I need to do the clutch/replace the trans on my G20 and get the damn thing sold, and do my 90k service on the LGT. Plus, I work at a school and school starts on Sept. 1, so all the faculty will be coming back at the end of August and telling us all the problems they've had with their laptops over the summer and will want them fixed, and we're deploying 35 new desktops and 100 new netbooks to various locations between next Monday and Sept. 1, and then our Windows 7 migration starts in October. And I'll be co-teaching a class (and it's my first time teaching a real class, so that should be interesting). Now that you know all about my life...
  10. I'm actually not being sarcastic. Sorry, the internet fails at conveying tone of voice. I think it's legit to want to see old friends, and honestly you've met me once. No worries about it, I'll just come to the next one (assuming it's not the first week of September, since I'll be in Boston visiting my girl that week).
  11. Weekends are usually fine, just not that particular one (or a couple others in August, for that matter... it's a busy month). As I said, I'm just the new guy... I'm sure you want to get together with friends who haven't been able to make it for a while.
  12. I won't be around for the 7th (my cousin is getting married in Gainesville), but hey, I'm just the new guy.
  13. Oh, I had a bunch of parts on my G20. SR20VE swap, I/H/E, SR16VE N1 cams with adjustable cam gears, flywheel, LSD transmission, keyless entry/alarm from a Maxima, two sets of wheels from later-model G20s, headunit/speakers, etc. I had about $5000-6000 in parts into it. I just got tired of shit breaking -- it's an 18-year-old car and the last straw was when I had to do a clutch job at a track in Iowa when a spring broke on my clutch disk, then the new clutch fell out of adjustment and killed 5th gear, and then the new clutch broke completely. I'm going to try to keep the LGT a bit more reliable, and I have to do it on a budget because my girlfriend is making sure I save appropriate amounts of money now. So it will be a very gradual thing, hopefully helped along by selling the G20.
  14. Nice to meet everyone. Y'all make me want to start with the mods ASAP. Too bad I have no money.
  15. I'm here a bit early (didn't know how long it would take coming from Baltimore, and I was bored as hell at home anyway). I'm parked in the spaces right next to Randolph Rd, perpendicular to the rows. See everyone in a bit!
  16. Barring unforeseen circumstances (car breaking down or me getting sick would probably be the only, unlikely circumstances), I'm definitely coming.
  17. LOL, actually, I only knew a couple of the people in the book before I set up a photo shoot with them. Most of them I got from various forums (both car-specific and local-oriented); my girlfriend got me the classic American stuff. I'm the cream-colored 92 Infiniti G20 (that was before I got the LGT). Most of the people are up in the Boston area (this was my senior thesis, and that's where I went to school). I think that the STI, the Eclipse, the Paseo, and the Volvo are from down here, and maybe one other. The GT-R guy was in Swampscott, MA. I think he's on NASIOC, actually -- I'm pretty sure that's where I got him.
  18. If I come, I have a decent DSLR and have done photo stuff in the past (like this; click Preview Book to see the photos).
  19. I might as well add myself to the list as a Maybe... I'm not sure if I'll have something else I'll need to do, but I'd like to start familiarizing myself with the Legacy scene. I'll know closer to the date whether I'll be able to come.
