  1. No. The sti uses a larger bolt pattern than the legacy. . I should add that the 2004 STI used a 5x100 bolt pattern, so those work.

  3. In the spirit of all this lube talk I guess it’s time for the seasonal reminder to LUBE YOUR LATCHES.
  4. Yea was that the tight fit fab guy? He was making radio harnesses. IWire may be another option too.
  5. On the topic of cruising. I’m a week late with my update. I lived with the LGT as my daily driver for a week of work. It was nice to spend that much time enjoying my drives again. Sunday I drove home from Penn State to Upper Burrell Twp and actively avoided the highways that make it quick and easy. I turned it in to about 120 miles of awesome mountain roads. @BoozeRS05,from me it was 380-981-22-53-253–453. The really fun part Cresson to Bald Eagle(only I did it the other direction) The pavement is all in great condition, the roads are wide, twisty, and change elevation constantly. It’s mostly cruising through state forest or past hunting camps. Only twice did I have to wait on cars in front of me and neither slowed me down for very long. The car was happy with moderate temps and warm pavement. With the 6mt it seemed like a thousand gear changes in 80 miles, all winding out third gear and settling into fourth gear with some occasional straights that can take 5th. Ii didn’t do the math but I’m guessing I was getting 10mpg. E85 Is available along the way! I’m going to do it again in the fall when the leaves are changing.
  6. Are you guys using Prismatic Powder? https://www.prismaticpowders.com/?gclid=CjwKCAjwrranBhAEEiwAzbhNtbuwmAGnMzD_Mth6a_n5u-mHuGmgEuftGJK2xbCeRBQ2Vcp0pGLr8RoCHTIQAvD_BwE
  7. I’ve have a set of brembos on the shelf with everything needed for a rebuild. They need cleaned up and fresh PC. Funny, White is my first choice but I’m scared of how dirty they’ll look after some time. Second and third choice is WRB or Cherry Blossom Red/STI pink. As boring as I usually am, I bet they end up boring as well. Maybe hyper silver or matte steel gray to match my wheels.
  8. I’d love to try the prodrive ovals. I have been running the spt exhaust (killer b header, Cobb catted dp) for a while and really like the subtlety but would love to try another high quality cbe just to see what it’s like. Previously I had a Frankenstein Autospeed cbe w/ borla xr1 that is too loud for my liking.
  9. I ended up doing 230miles of back roads last weekend. The weather was perfect and the car performed as expected. I’m going to keep it rolling and take her to Penn State next week for work. No sense letting her rot away in the garage. These two weeks will total half of the mileage that she saw last year!
  10. Completed another PA state inspection this morning. Two of the techs complimented the car, which always feels good. Then topped off with s85 (76.8% on the gauge). Tokorrow is a 100mile road trip to my friends camp in NW PA with some fantastic roads on the way.
  11. As much as I hate YEA BUT’s. That still an impressive ranking considering you’re probably running against times set by Max, Sergio, Lewis, and Fernando.
  12. You know how you feel about your $500 cheapies? You’ll never feel that about your KW, but you may feel that way about a $1500 compromise. I’m a firm believer in Buy Once Cry Once. im not saying there is anything wrong with those other coils, I don’t know. I do know that the KW are THAT good. I had mine rebuilt once (RCE T1 setup) with a stiffer rear spring and they are fantastic in all conditions. Firm but never harsh and flat in the corners.
  13. I can talk you into spending the extra $1k in KW. Let me know when you’re ready.
  14. This little girl joined our family on Sunday. Coco, 10wk Bernese Mtn Poodle (Bernadoodle but I ain’t calling her that). She is one of the most laid back pups I’ve ever met. Her and Flash (10yr Kleekai) are adjusting very well and are sharing bowls and toys.
  15. Sprank I’ll be flying into DC on Thursday and I have the day off with no real plans other than hitting a dispensary. I can swing by and grab that shizzz. I’ll pm you my cell if that day works for you.
  16. Tomorrow makes 14 years for me and LGT. She still shines like new. Just a hair under 57k miles.
  17. I was asking if he wanted me to pick them up on my drive home. Not sure how far you live from DC.
  18. Only if you’re interested in the finest Nissan Altima that Hertz has in its fleet… im flying in for work and driving a rental home.
  19. M sprank and Booze, I’ll be in dc next week and driving home to PGH. Not sure if any of that route is convenient to grab your parts.
  20. MoleMan has some interesting takes in several different threads, approach his comments as satire or just plain old bad advice.
  21. You’re on the right path with a dedicated winter setup. If it were me, I’d look at a summer tire with a 300-400TW rating. Mps4s are at 300, the Conti’s are around 360ish if I remember correctly. Either will give a huge improvement in grip over an all season without being TOO performance-focused.
  22. And here we are again…. portions of your statement are completely incorrect and you’re justifying it by spouting off about temps dropping and location and mods and blah blah. performance summer rubber, in the conditions for which they are designed (SUMMER!) will improve LATERAL GRIP and decrease braking distance on ANY vehicle when compared to a non-performance-focused tire, this applies to a 7th gen Subaru Camry as much as it applies to any other car The science doesn’t care
