I'm getting on your case because you really have started about a bagillion threads about your intermittent knock issues. Don't you think it'd be more beneficial to you and everyone else to actually consolidate all that information in one thread dedicated to your car instead of polluting up a general "do you have knock" thread that's supposed to apply to owners in general? This thread is for determining if someone has knock. Your car has knock, or it thinks it does. You have a bunch of other threads devoted to troubleshooting your car. Look, I'm sorry if I'm coming across as some anal retentive jerk, but I'm subscribed to this thread and everytime you reply, it shows up on my listing and it's a bit irritating to see that once again, it's a reply from you about your car, not some other guy seeking help or contributing information.

Dude, fishbone, for crying out loud, you have like 3 of your own threads.

Showing up at a person's doorstep because he scammed you is monumentally stupid unless you plan on being able to deal with whatever consequences could possibly arise. (i.e. the scammer is armed and willing to shoot you.) -
Oops, my mistake. Don't know why I was thinking of 4EAT. P.S. You really should take this conversation back to your own threads.

You should file a police report. Being scammed is both a civil AND a criminal matter. -
Sigh. You would classify that as running spotless? http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2926763&postcount=134

Dude, your car has not been running spotless for 2 years!! You've been having problems for a long while now. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/stage-2-contd-112604.html In your own thread, you've been having problems as recently as last April 2010!

Yeah, I have to agree with burnout... I wouldn't necessarily say he's a scammer yet. It always sucks when you feel like you've been taken, and worse yet, you have to fight to get your money back. But you don't have definitive proof yet that he's a scammer. Only that he's gone completely silent. Maybe the guy's been in a car accident, had a death in his family and is out of town/the country....or worse yet, he died. He's already been banned, but by doing that, you've effectively removed one form of communications he has with you. Fortunately, you have his phone number... Hope this works out for the best. In the meantime, take a deep breath. -
How to Align your headlights! if you don't know now you do.

I wouldn't mess with your horizontal adjustment unless you have a good reason to. -

One of my CPI Gold fogs went out a few weeks ago and I replaced it. It's a different color than the CPI Gold I had from 2 years ago! And I don't think I like the new ones. The new ones are more of a solid yellow whereas the olds one have sort of a.... hue that comes off it when viewed from an angle. I can't exactly describe it, almost like a soapy film color? Argh.... It was a neat effect. Anyway, they don't match now... sigh. -

Ah thanks... Funny, I read that before ages ago, just needed a refresher I guess. Yeah, I just bought another 4 from him. My bulbs are okay, but my CPI Gold H3 right side just went out so I ordered 4 more of those, too. Figured I might as well order a bunch to save on the shipping. -

Interesting.... http://suvlights.com/product_info.php?products_id=332 http://suvlights.com/product_info.php?products_id=164 They're offering them in 2 different colors: hyper (clear) and hyper (super-white). Candlepowerinc (Daniel Stern's site) only offers it in hyper (clear) which is the original. I wonder how SUVLights.com got that blue coating onto the bulb for the Super White because from the pictures, the box and part number is the same so somehow I doubt Osram coated it when they manufactured it because the part numbers would be different then. Any ideas? -

Lifespan varies quite a bit. Sometimes you get a "bad" bulb and it just burns out quickly. I had one last only about 8 months. I had put in the pair simultaneously. The other one I have on there still hasn't burnt out yet and it's been over a year and a half I think. -

Exhaust Audio/Video Clip Compilation Thread

The stock system is actually narrower than 2.5" from what I've read here. More like 1.8" I think someone once said. -
heads up for some of you guys... the tranny on my 05 LGT was almost impossible to separate from the engine. all bolts holding the bell housing to the engine were removed. we had the car on a lift, and were basically rocking the transmission like CRAZY, and it simply would NOT come out. it took a LOT of work to even get a tiny crack of space in there using a screwdriver and hammer, and then we were able to jam progressively larger screw drivers in, and finally a pry bar. after breaking the transmission apart from the engine, we realized that replacing everything without removing the left and right drive axles really isn't possible. i'm not sure how you would suggest going about it, but really, the tranny simply doesn't back up that far without removing the axles.

I don't remember which way to turn the bolt. Just turn it a bunch and see what happens. -

Negative. Changing your ride height shouldn't need any readjustment of your headlights, unless your ride height was not changed equally in the front and rear. (change of angle) -

I wouldn't worry about the relays either. Just put the lights in. -

Low beams: H7 Osram 65W Ralleye bullbs. Just make sure if you're aiming your lights, you do NOT cover the headlights with a cloth. It'll overheat and melt. I learned that the hard way. High beams: HIR1 still, yep. They might call it a 9011 HIR or something but it's the same. You'll have to cut a bit of the plastic off to make it fit. Fogs: I don't think it really makes a huge difference. Our fog lights sort of... well... .suck, no matter what. -
oops, yeah, i meant log.
