  1. been meaning to post this. I keep forgetting LOL
  2. The PSI or pressure I was referring to was to be able to throw the smoke into the system. This is for preassembled smoke machines for DJs and such. I prefer to have an all inclusive thing than a piece together thing since it's better on storage and when i need it you know? Further? I could buy a gallon of smoke and not use the whole thing in one sitting. All of these suggestions are good ones though and have seen a few DIYs too.
  3. subscribed for good info. Any ideas on a good DIY smoke tester? I don't have access to a lot of stores you guys do on the continental US but we do have small party city shops that sell smoke machines and amazon LOL. any of those have enough pressure to show smoke through the intake to show a leak?
  4. honestly... thats more expensive than the XTS ones which are bigger than the ATS ones i'm waiting on to arrive. I got mine for $80 a side so the price of the ATS ones cannot be beat. now that these are becoming more popular rock auto has them for more like 110+. but if you got lucky and bought that other guy setup for less than 600 thats a steal!
  5. http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5246/5268096921_e364004331_b.jpg Found this image on a legacy forum in the UK. the clearance between the front caliper and the wheel for these wheels are pretty close. Like I said. You may need a 5mm spacer to clear.
  6. Ah. They have Saab centers in that pic. My friend has a 92x as well. Anyway, the inner barrels look promising. You may need a spacer 5mm or so to clear but you've got good chance. The brembo sits beyond he top hat of the rotor.
  7. Thanks , I've had mine sitting since late January, early February. Didn't install till recently. Got Amazon to take them back. The ACDELCO part numbers is what I posted. They're the same as your cross reference parts. They definitely sent me the wrong ones and that's why they took it back. Correct ones are in route already.
  8. Congrats. I'm lazy trying to paint all my stuff sitting at the back side of my house
  9. Back to stock now till the correct calipers come in. Anyone that's questioning going back to stock... This is why I chose to use the nut and bolt vs tapping the lower.
  10. What do they look like? Maybe I can find someone locally that has a set. But SpecB's here aren't common.
  11. It definitely will not fit. The inner barrel is too large
  12. My findings of not fitting under 17s are because the stock wheels are 17s but the way the inner barrel is will be the problem. I'm quite sure that these can fit under 17s because STI brembos do fit as long as you have the right inner barrel and the spokes don't come in too much. If I had another set of 17s to fit once my replacement calipers (read: correct ones). I know my friend has a pair of prodrive wheels I can fit up to verify. I'll also verify if I can find some RPF1s as well locally to verify. I have an STI spare tire I'll check that too that's 5x100
  13. They're a street and auto-x pad only. I've never heard of track-x before so i'm assuming it's an open track racing like super lap or similar. I wouldn't ever run bobcats there due to their heat rating. Bobcats are awesome pads for the street. granted for track days I use axxis ultimates or similar track pad along with running dot4 fluid.
  14. Carbotech bobcats are great pads! I had them in my stock brake setup and in the brembo setup and hopefully they make a set for the ATS setup.
  15. Good tires, pads are mandatory. They make the world of a difference. Dust is inevitable. Though there are some pads that dust a shit ton like axxis ultimates. Loved them but a lot of dust. I'm using Hankook RS3 right now on my STI. I've used BFG KDW/KDW2, Bridgestone RE11, RE01R and similar tires. I'm actually using BFG Sport Comp 2 on the LGT right now.
  16. STI brembos fit under 17x7.5 +53 I believe. Which is the size of the JDM Split 5's on an Impreza. Not sure how it correlates to an LGT. Stock 17s definitely won't fit BUT since I got the wrong size caliper it could be possible. The inner barrel shouldn't step down like the 04 STI BBS wheel though.
  17. Sigh. Idk when these new calipers will come in. Hopefully by next week. Guess I'm gonna put the stock setup back on for now till the new calipers arrive.
  18. that was my gripe too. i told them i bought this shit in late january early feburary (as mentioned before it's been chilling in my house for a while) and i didn't get a chance to install it now. obviously it's a while over your return policy but given the situation you guys sent me the wrong shit. I've had nothing but issues with a lot of things lately from them so i pressed the issue and i was happy to be told i can return them for a refund but i won't be refunded until the incorrect calipers return. I said i wouldn't have known unless i installed them either!
  19. what we need is: 172-2586 & 172-2587 what I received was 172-2592 & 172-2593 (these are for the 2013-2015 XTS) they are definitely bigger than the ATS version. the rotors and pads are the same though! So now i wait till i receive the correct ones (hopefully soon) and I spoke with Amazon and they'll be issuing me a refund for the wrong ones even though I had them well beyond their return and refund window! the bracket works honestly. If i had bigger rotors it would've worked.
  20. ****. Looks like Amazon sent me the wrong shit. Grr. I ordered the right stuff but they sent me something different. Glad I know I didn't **** up on my own.
  21. According to all my part numbers it's all right. He's asking for the caliper number now. I send him whatever pictures had numbers on them to verify.
  22. Here's a GDB-F front brembo (06 STI) front brembo on the LGT front knuckle with the same powerslot rotor. Fits perfectly and sits right. Also, here is a side by side comparison of the two
  23. Ok fixed! LOL Further, we've got some fitment issues that I need to work out with CTSV. So far the pad DOES sit above the rotor a bit =\ Here is the bracket installed after everything removed. Not upside down. I ordered a L/R kit for rotors. 126.47019 and it's supposed to contain 126.47019SR and 126.47019SL. What I got was 125.47019 for both left and right but they were marked as such. They are the correct height rotors I believe of 12.8" or 326mm. Now I wait till CTSV gets back to me.
