  1. Viewing on Tapatalk and I'm only seeing images really. So I'm assuming you ran two wires for the folding portion from one side of the car to the other so there are now 4 and you spliced them together for positive and negative which goes into the switch circuit? I'm trying to power the mirrors directly with either 9v or 12v from the battery directly and they won't fold. Am I missing something here?
  2. I'm not running that exact size but the offset is the same. i don't see why it wouldn't fit. you're also running an 18" wheel which is more of the requirement i believe. I'm running 18x9.5 +38
  3. Yes. Still a leak. You may not get a change in idle even when spraying certain areas. I would suggest taking that area apart and securing all vacuum lines. I did the same. Mine came from the inlet to hose connections in that area. Some were hard and not sealing. No change in idle either when spraying like you did. Smoke testing shows where a small leak is and that's the point.
  4. well i always assume people have good tires. LOL. thats definitely not the case in most cases. even clamping is what i should've said.
  5. Obviously you'll stop faster due to the additional pistons on the other side of the rotor and larger rotor surface though. Also if you had a brake master bracket it'll be even better so feel is relative.
  6. Brake feel is directly related to a lot of things. More specifically, maintenance, modifications done and fluids. That's a very hard question to answer. If you upgrade calipers but keep stock lines it won't feel great. But if you already had stainless lines and stock brakes and other supporting brake mods it'll feel similar. There are too many factors to answer this question.
  7. I posted a lot of data. What honesty are you looking for? Is it balance. Yes. Do you NEED to upgrade your calipers. No. Is it an inexpensive upgrade. Yes. Is it worth it, I think it is. Stopping distance is reduced and noticeable. Is the stock LGT calipers good enough. Yes, for most people. Is it bling? Totally. Would I do it again, most definitely. Best brake upgrade I've found for the money in the 15+ years I've been in the Subaru community.
  8. I think I'm following. Pressure builds for mine. Are all your vacuum lines stock routing? Hmm. I didn't remove my oil fill though when testing. Maybe that's the difference
  9. Wait. You said earlier that you were smoking through the BOV port and not through the intake? When I ran my smoker it was through the intake. If I BLOW with my lungs through the BOV line I cap my intake. Billowing through the oil stick or fill?
  10. I'm not familiar with your engine. What mods do you have?
  11. You need to check each vacuum connection under the intake manifold. Also found a few on the lower connections including the front side vacuum hoses there too. Thought I was looking at my engine bay for a second but don't have the stock TMI and no gold film [emoji23] I would recommend zip tying each hose (I did this) and changing any hoses you cannot squeeze or collapse with your finger when it's disconnected.
  12. You'll need Legacy GT if your car is a GT. if it's a non-GT you'll need those type. I had mentioned this a while ago on one of my posts
  13. brakes still working great on my car LOL. i really wanna fit the rear calipers from the ATS onto a Suby even though they're at a different mounting position. For the most part... the brakes working great. the pins holding in the pads need to be looked at every now and again. unlike our STI brembo set that uses a safety pin, the hardware that's used is just a push in type with tension. the pad can fall towards the rotor if the pin backs out. i just make sure it's secured in with a rubber mallet on the pin.
  14. here you go: https://www.drive2.com/l/5009236/ I cannot take credit for this but it does work. it's in russian but you can have it translated. The parts are listed there as well: 91349-PNC-J01 — 1 91348-P2A-003 — 1 91347-PLA-003 — 2 91347-PAA-A01 — 1 91346-PLA-003 — 1 91345-RJL-003 — 2 91345-PAA-A01 — 1 91344-PNC-003 — 1 91343-PNC-003 — 1 91249-PNC-003 — 1 91048-P2A-003 — 1 If you notice in MY picture above there is a dark ring around the left most part. that is NOT an o-ring. I couldn't remove it and replace the large o-ring. I didn't use all of these parts but I did use most of them. This replaces the bearing and o-rings and spacers inside the pump. not just a single o-ring like most late model WRX/STI owners do. The problem will return. I've had no leaks since i did the replacement a while ago.
  15. o-rings, and other seals and such. i'll see if i can find what i replaced exactly. it's similar to the Impreza pump but we don't use all the parts.
  16. sigh. i swear i need to find the time to take proper photos of this car rather than at work in the parking lot LOL
  17. right. which i understand and own but what rear bumper support (beam or reinforcement) under the bumper skin did you go with?
  18. what rear bumper beam did you go with for the JDM rear?
  19. i've only successfully bought something from HF once. they're ungodly expensive to ship to me here in Hawaii LOL. but i'll look into that regulator.
  20. oh! i also forgot to post these. I made by news paper wad a lot smaller and only let it burn for a little bit. set my regulator right before it starts bleeding out of the valve and turn it a quarter turn LOL. it's not bad and I was able to find a few leaks. unfortunately didn't get the best one of the GFB BOV leaking through the valve! shit. anyway... here's a few of the smoker in action https://vimeo.com/166659205 https://vimeo.com/166659231
  21. so I tested the smoker early evening and I think I made my paper wad too big causing it to burn too hot and melt/caramelize my hose [emoji23] causing the hose to collapse and eventually pop the top of the can right after this video. I think my compressor flows too much air due to my pneumatic tool requirements and I've set it as low as possible [emoji23] https://vimeo.com/166408917 hopefully this weekend i'll actually get to test with it! I made this video a few days ago.
  22. dang it! you guys should've asked for weight BEFORE i mounted these. i could've weighed them all LOL. I ain't doing it again. LOL someone else needs to step up this time LOL
  23. Hey Pat! no it's not. I haven't gotten a chance to go to his house yet since the "correct" brake calipers were mounted. I've gotta get in contact with him soon. I'll get you the specs as well. incidentally he wants to sell them.
