yea man. i was on a 1/4 tank. still am. figured i would try marathon b/c it is on my way home. no 89/93. then went to sunoco and the place was a hole in the ground. if u cant maintain your black top and your pumps are rusted.... chances are your tanks have holes and there is water in your gas. so i passed up on them. it is getting harder to get good gas. hence my toluene attempts. i am on call this week, but next week i am going to give it a try. just gotta figure out how to get it in the tank.

i think they are blending here at get go. man the marathon up here stopped selling 89 and 93.

i found the math equation to compute dilution w/ toluene. (octane * gallons) + (114 * gallons of toluene) ---------------------------------------------- gallons that will give you your final octane. if i do a half tank of 93 and put in a gallon of toluene that will give me 95 octane apparently. i dunno..... is running like 100 octane horrible for a turbo car? i know if you are tuned for it, but just a stocker? not sure.

so i did some searching and apparently a lot of people are a fan of toluene. anyone ever use it around here or know where to get it?

hey to remove the maf on this car is it the two screws on the top of the maf, unplug the maf, and pull up and it comes out? also, have any of u used octane booster? i just want to try it to see if the gas stations around here are blending and giving me lower octane fuel.

ah man golden gate i have been to a few times and they are HORRIBLE. always packed and people are so stupid there. i may try it though tomorrow at 1pm as they are the closest place to my office.

the orlando airport was one of the most horrible airports i have ever been in. some cuban guy took a crap in a stall and wiped his ass, missed the toilet, and left it on the floor.

wow no posts since i left? well again i am sitting in an airport. orlando international. hotel checkout was 11. i got here at 11.30. my flight isnt until 3.43. UGH. no earlier flights. so her I sit for the next two hours before my flight will probably even show up on the board. it sux my flight wont show up on the board. i have no clue wtf gate i have to be at. so i cant even go through security.

boo i dont get to rent a car b/c the conference is in the place where i am staying. i am in the airport now annoying the guy next to me b/c i can surf the net and he cant. hmm.... i thought my dramamine tabs were chewables. apparently they are not and i just chewed one. made my mouth feel all friggin weird and almost numb. i wonder if that is what it does to your stomach. make it feel numb so u dont get motion sick. hmmmm. man i used to not mind flying. now i hate it.

well gents, i am off to florida until thursday! scooby is being stored at a friend's house and hopefully i will get some hot nerdy arse while i am down there. i am going for a SQL Server convention in conjunction w/ many other conventions. hopefully i meet a cute sql dba and we retire and live on a combined quarter million income. a guy can dream.

boo...... no interview tomorrow. for the job i apparently had in the bag, they found a local candidate they are interviewing. apparently paying 2500 to move me up front and cutting 2K off my salary is way too much for them to deal with.

this is why i hate companies........ i am supposed to be on a flight tomorrow i guess. still dont know my itinerary. i am bumming a ride to the airport as i dont want to leave my lgt down there overnight. i told this company a WEEK ago what days i wanted and noooooooooooooooo we are going to do the less than 24 hours notice crap. as much as i want this job and it is at present my only real offer to get out of ohio....... if they dont have crap for me by 4pm i am calling up the head hunter and saying screw it.
