  1. i dunno man. seeing how i can't go inside the building, i would probably be inclined to hang out w/ u guys before hand locally or after. i re-built that center plastic carpeted cover in the trunk well last night and mounted my cryO2 tank surrount to it. now i just have to hook it all up and test. that is on my to do. so i may want to get that done b4 i dunno. what time were u guys thinking?
  2. hmm..... u talk about valley view? 5935 Canal Road Valley View, OH 44125 216-986-WING (9464) only one i could find close on google maps. i know that area sorta. broadway. i have a little unfinished business in that area. i dont like it. i wont be able to go inside the place due to our lovely state firearm laws. i don't leave home w/o my toys...... especially when going to that area.
  3. wow QS&L's site suck monkey balls. which one of these are u talking about? Austintown Beavercreek Boardman Express Milford Sheffield Valley View Quicken Loans Arena - Cleveland Canton - Coming Soon!
  4. lunch...... sucked. it will be a while before i go back to the cheese cake factory. i got a turkey burger. i usually get the burrito but the turkey burger was very pink inside and tasted nasty. i got the meal comped and a free slice of cheese cake. no scooby owners showed up. just us tiburon people see where the brass fitting is sitting in the middle of the image? the line it is zip tied to is the line i Ted into. http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b181/bms231/subaru/cry02/DSCF2442.jpg

  6. i dunno if anyone is into guns, but this saturday at sherwin shooting sports range me and a few others are going to bring all our weapons to have some fun. it will be saturday @ 11am till whenever.
  7. i think it was u guys who wanted to see the final product. i am lazy... i need to cut the felt bottom better and i need to hide that piece of double stick tape other than that, sits in there fine. there is an extra fin on the side that jams down inbetween the a pillar and the dash that holds it in place. the double stick tape keeps it from rocking forward under full acceleration. http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b181/bms231/subaru/gauge/DSCF2470.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b181/bms231/subaru/gauge/DSCF2471.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b181/bms231/subaru/gauge/DSCF2473.jpg I need to hide the wires and the black felt keeps it from knocking on my glass. http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b181/bms231/subaru/gauge/DSCF2474.jpg
  8. ok fellers so SUNDAY @ 12noon... lunch @ beachwood's cheese cake factory. what say you?

  11. hahaha, i bet it was what? hey ok what are all ur damn names. i know i will forget, but maybe not. i am brian
  12. i put it no the air recirc hose on top of the air recirc valve. i t-ed into that and ran hard poly line all the way inside to the gauge cept for that one little section of soft line right behind the gauge.
  13. yes sir. 100% built from the ground up. i got into fiberglassing recentlly it is a pita to do but looks awesome when done.
  14. what? or TSI..... anyone interested in going to the cheese cake factory in beechwood this weekend for lunch or dinner? i know one of my tib friends had been wanting to go forever.
  15. cryO2 CO2 intercooler sprayer emm, cold at the push of a button. top one is the arming switch. blue one is to spray. there is also a WOT switch u can install under the gas ped, but i dont b/c i dont track the car. http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b181/bms231/subaru/cry02/DSCF2434.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b181/bms231/subaru/DSCF2455.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b181/bms231/subaru/DSCF2457.jpg
  16. no no this is dead on. it is def a flutter. the gauge itself makes the noise b/c the needle bounces really fast when between like12 and 15lbs. it doesnt bounce all over the place but really a fast back and forth of about a needle's width. it does it too when i start off in 1st at below 1K when the engine kinda studders to start moving the gauge flutters and makes a ticking/fluttering/etc... i did take out that "pill" by not using the supplied T. i mean come on, that is just too small to fit any line and i dont like plastic for high pressure stuff. so, screw it, i think i will just live w/ it.
  17. i molded my own pod up into my left a-pillar right above the lil vent on the dash. got it painted DMG. I have one more of these glassed that i am not going to do crap with. a lil bondo and some paint or vinyl and it will be good to use. http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b181/bms231/subaru/DSCF2454.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b181/bms231/subaru/DSCF2451.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b181/bms231/subaru/gauge/DSCF2396.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b181/bms231/subaru/gauge/DSCF2394.jpg
  18. i have a feeling it is the 1" of soft flex line that i used. it is so pinched i definitely know it. it is only when i let off the gas at full boost. also sometimes when i take off and the car stutters b/c i dont give it enough gas.
  19. ok so cool took it for a drive. boost peaks at what looks like 14/15psi. when it is up there for a while, once i take my foot off the gas my gauge or something makes a strange rattle. doesnt looks like an air leak. but a rattle. interesting.
  20. hehe, i am about to go for a drive now w/ a buddy w/ some guns to a police station...... hehehe dont ask. i will tell u how it is when i get back. hopefully all goes well.
  21. wow ok so what a night.... few things. went to hook up my boost gauge. started car, negative like 20 vac. hit the gas a bit, never got up really above 0. so being my first turbo car i imagine under load i will produce boost. the one problem i have is for a short section inside my gauge box i built is the crappy rubber line and it totally kinks. seeing how the the t fitting that was supplied has a brass restrictor of about a pin hole that i never used, i would imagine it could never be pinched all the way closed. so a funny story..... it now gets dark super early. so i go into the garage at my apartment and close the door behind me. the lights usually come on around 6. so i am working and just pull out my gauges and dont disconnect the power etc etc and hear a huge pop followed by a flash. i start freaking out thinking i blew a main fuse. i couldnt find it. car started. later i found out, it was the light bulb that blew. doh.
  22. yea see that is what i figured about the big one. i bought the little one from subaru last night. 47.50. it starts out about 5/16" up top where it hits the recircl then is about 16" long and does all kinds of curves and ends up being like 1/8". the way it is curved, it almost looks like it goes and connects to something below the intake manifold above the block. that would make sense though b/c it would be controlling the amount of boost being bled through based on the amount of pressure in the manifold. so in theory if that hose disconnects, there is nothing to force the recirc valve open? at least that is my train of thought.
  23. That leads to more questions, what is the hose at the bottom of the recirc? THere is the big one on the bottom, and the small one on the top. I thought the small one that u tap for a boost gauge let the ecu control boost. I dunno though. Right now nothing is wrong. The reason I asked the question is b/c I ran line for my boost gauge last week. The soft rubber stuff they gave was not long enough and was very very very easy to pinch. I can't have pinching in a boost line. So I got the hard white plastic line they often use to run water. I saw some guy use it on here. The problem is, when i cram it onto my 1/4" barbs, the line goes on, but in less than 12 hours developes stress cracks then eventually splits and falls off. I have not hooked up the system and noticed that right before I was about to. I wanted to know if it ever broke what the drivability or symptoms would be.
  24. so new question, what would happen if the small hose on the recirc valve a. split or b. came completely off?
