so on my way back from Johnson on 64 I was making a left turn out of the auto park and a g35 sedan was going too slow for my liking. so i went into the slow lane and was in 2nd and just went. well.... i hear him rev up so i was like.... ok. red lined all my gears and was up to 100mph before i shut down. guy didnt gain an inch on me. at the next light he asked what my car was. kinda funny. so he wanted to go at the light. i dont like street racing. i have never launched my car. so i figured what the hell gotta do it once. reved up to about 4K and dropped it. apparently that is a crappy launch rpm? cause it was a really crappy launch. tired chirped and i was two cars back b/c of changing into second and stayed that way.

just some people getting together and standing around. same thing with all meets. come on out man.

yea but being a tech area i am hoping the ones that moved there are not the hourly auto mechanics and actually some intelligent people who had the money and talent to leave the state. sorry, not bashing auto mechanics but if u lived in northern ohio where the average salary is 37K a year and everyone wants to grow up to be a mechanic to the point where there are 5 on every street block..... it gets old fast.

so yea anyways, i still have that damn stutter. some days it is damn bad. like one day i was in S# and coming around a corner and was in 2nd at about 2 grand and the power went bye bye. it is so not my clutch b/c there are times when i am just driving lightly around the 2.5k rpm range and accellerating lightly and i will get a lil buck. i wonder if i fouled my plugs by running in 2nd at 1krpm around my parking garage and rolling through stop signs.
