Taking my ex-b!tch to court, because she "FEELS" like shes the better parent and wants to have more visitation rights/days. All hell no, I'm going to reverse her argument and take away 1 extra day from her, becuase her mother watches the kids more than her. Gawd I hate nurses.........no offense Laff.
My builder just pulled the block apart and said every thing looks good. He's going to polish up the rods, replace the bearings with ACL race bearings and put in CP pistons. He only uses CP pistons, since he had nothing gone wrong with them. So, I'm going to take his word on it.
It's fairly easy. Just remove the front grill, and the 8ish pop-its from underneath. You may need to remove the lower driving lights if you want to pull the whole thing off, otherwise you can just lower it to the ground carefully.
That's what I thought. Just wanting a reliable motor that will last me another 100k without major oil consumption, and make the step up to Stage 2 in the near future.
All you need is 600 grit sand paper, a polisher, and wax/sealant. Sand all the haze off, polish it with a high speed polisher, and then apply wax/sealant. Boom, brand new looking headlights that will last you a few more years.
Your TOB telling you something and you better look into it before it gets worse and leave you on the side of the road.
The TOB rests against the clutch even when not engaged and the chatter you hear is 1 of 2 things.
1. The TOB is damaged already and is skipping around on the pressure plate fingers.
2. Some of the pressure plate fingers could be damaged and chattering against the TOB.
Majority of the time it's going to be number 1.
The TOB will make noise with the pedel pressed in. When pressure is applied to the TOB to clutch, the bearings inside are dry and will start to squeek/squeal. It's letting you know that you only has a few days left of driving before it blows apart, the TOB that is.
I'm on my 3rd TOB right now, and each one will give you fair warning before it goes.
