Excellant, it worked!! Uninstalled ECUflash 1.42 and installed 1.29 version. Works perfect, now I'm able to Read, Write, Test and Compare thru ECUflash. Thanks Silverstar:)

Was using the 1.42 from the main site. I'll try running the one posted and see it that makes any difference.

Need help trying to figure this one out. I've read both the Autonostics threads inside and out trying to find someone with the same issues I'm having. Found a few, but they didn't give a clear anwser to how they fixed it. Using the VAG COM (blue) cable. Installed all recommened programs including updates (RR, LV, Ecuflash). Followed instructions step by step Here's what works: RR works fine and able to log stock runs LV works fine and able to reteive ECU info, IAM, etc... Here's what not working: ECUflash Connected green connectors connected VAG COM cable from ECU to laptop Turn car to "on" Start ECUflash "Read" program Message states: Unable to connect to vehicle interface. Interface close. Not understanding why the other programs work great and the ECUflash doesn't. Anyone know of a fix??? Thanks.

The car is at the dealership today for the 2nd time having the ECM and relay replaced. The first time it worked for about 10 months and then it started acting up again. Now it's on all the time. Dealership is good though, I have no problems with them.

Thanks, just received their response. SOA: "Your vehicle does appear to have an open recall relating to the concern you have mentioned. I would need to refer you to your local Subaru dealership to have this recall repair perfomed at no charge to you, of course." Looks like I'm taken it back to the dealer.

Last July, I had the ECU and Relay replaced. Just last month when the car is fully warmed up, the fan will turn on and stay on. So then I bought a new relay in hopes of fixing it. Nope, it contiune to do the same thing, which leads me to believe the ECU needs replacing again. I'm hoping SOA will correct this since I've already had this done last year.

The question here is, since I already did the recall last year, will they contiune to fix it if it happens again?

Change the relay again and nothing happened. Since my car's warranty has expired, I sent an email to SOA to see if they will honor to fix this on going issue. I'll post their comments as soon as I hear back from them.
