  1. +1 on 235/40/18 being a great tire size. Zero/minimal work to make everything fit. I haven't had the need to roll or pull fenders. Front camber is under -2 degrees. I do have lowering camber plates from RCE. First set being Hankook V12s, UHP tire. Second set now being Michelin 4, all season tire. Between both sets, my wheels remained 18x8 but offset went from +48 to +44. The only suspension change from the wheel / tire change was the need to raise the car 1/4in due to tire rub. Easy fix in my opinion and should not be an issue on stock ride height.
  2. I'm also on a Perrin inlet w/ a Blouch turbo (stock inlet size). It's very tight and I couldn't imagine doing this without taking off the intake manifold. I can't remember, but I may have upgraded to better clamps from the ones Perrin provides. Like Max is saying, clock the clamp so you have the ability to tighten it further if needed. Looking at the car from the front, I'd say the fastener is around 10-11 o' clock so you can snake an extension and socket from the top.
  3. Here you go. I took a chance on these wheels after watching a review on them. I don't think there's another Legacy out there that's running this wheel from my knowledge. The wheel itself is for 86 / BRZ / FRS fitment, some options were much wider but I didn't want to introduce additional fitment issues so I stuck with 18x8, although offset went from ET48 to ET44. This company is definitely a super low-key wheel manufacturer making small volume, high quality forged (and light) wheels. It's easily confused with TSW which I guess helps with theft It took a month of waiting which isn't bad compared to what I've seen/heard from other high-end forged wheel brands. Overall, I'm over the moon with this setup. Each wheel comes in at just under 15lbs. This is my first set of forged, expensive AF wheels since I came from the Rota Gravels. Hopefully no loss in integrity since the Gravels were SOLID. Suspension wise, I'm on RCE Tarmac 1s with RCE lowering camber plates clocked for additional caster. Alignment right now is -2.2 camber front, -1.5 rear, 0 toe f/r and 7 degree of front caster.
  4. Recently installed 18x8 ET44 wheels with 235/40 UHP Michelin All Season 4 caused some minor rubbing at the front fenders. Raised up the car a bit to see if I can clear it without adding more negative camber. Currently -2.2 up front. Also - Moog front sway bar links were shot! Installed Kartboys and surprised how easy the install was with the spacers on a stock sway bar.
  5. Friday Bump! These are great set of winter wheels. Adding a picture with these wheels mounted on MY09 LGT w/ RCE Tarmac 1s. Excuse the filthy car!
  6. [sOLD] Hey everyone - $250 OBO - Great set of winter season wheels. All wheels are straight, without any curb rash and no bends. They have some surface blemishes from normal driving during the winter months. Center caps are intact but have some minor corrosion (no rust). No TPMS sensors but have billet valve stems, holds air fine. They will include metal (not plastic) hub centric rings. Tires are Hankook Icebear W300 which are old but average 5mm tread life remaining, which is roughly 6/32in. Wheels were ran for a few winter seasons until I put them in storage. If anyone is interested let me know, I'd prefer local pickup.
  7. Pending sale. Adding additional photos for those who requested them. All wheels are now washed. Coating is still intact, added a quick SiO2 spray so new owner has added protection to keep them clean.
  8. Here’s how they would look on stock suspension. https://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2971743&postcount=1 I’d prefer not to ship. Where exactly are you?
  9. Bump! [10/28 UPDATE] All wheels are now off the car. The tires are no good, they will still be mounted. Price reduced. Pictures added - 1. Picture of how they look on MY09 LGT w/ RCE Tarmac 1s 2. Pictures of all wheels 3. Pictures of each individual wheel 4. Pictures of the slight rash on both wheels.
  10. [sOLD!] to jcaroth Hey everyone $450 OBO - 2 are in perfect condition, 2 have slight rash. All wheels come with TPMS sensors (still functional) with billet valve stems. Center caps have STi overlays. These were well taken care of with ceramic coating annually on face and barrels. If anyone is interested let me know, I'd prefer local pickup.
  11. Has anyone considered earlier MY STi 6MTs, not from the 04/05 STi. What challenges do you guys foresee if I try to perform a swap using the below transmission. Transmission code - TY856WB1CA Model range - JDM Impreza WRX STi MY01-02 + RA MY01 Final drive is 3.9, non-DCCD with AP Suretrac front and rear diff (R180)
  12. I have a similar tool from P&L that I can lend you. You still have to be careful tightening it down with the flywheel bolts. I have an extra RMS too. Let me know if you want to swing by NNJ / Bergen County to pick up the tool and seal.
  13. Interesting, should work with the 1.5XTR. PM me price please! Thanks in advance.
  14. Looking great! I love the JDM grille. What happened to the KB hard inlet? Looks like you're back to the Perrin.
  15. Nice! I want to see how they got the Killer B inlet installed! There were a few posts on IG recently with the inlet used with our plastic manifolds. The front mounting position was retained which is nice but some slight modification was needed where the EBCS bracket sits. Hoping you can share some detailed photos.
  16. I have a Process West TMIC w/ splitter if interested. Includes all hoses for stock turbo.
  17. Let us know how that Killer B inlet works w/ LGT fitment!
  18. Wow. Stock longblock FTW. The Cobb install is super easy. There's a small bung at the bottom of the radiator fan shroud that the custom bracket sit in. There's a mounting point at the top of the radiator as well. Looking at your piping, it may be a squeeze with the Cobb unit. So you might be better off modifying their bracket and get it lined up perfectly. https://cobbtuning.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PRS/pages/58425911/800650+-+Coolant+Overflow+Reservoir+Install+Instructions
  19. Lucky! I actually run the Cobb unit now which is pretty good. I was actually looking at the ChaseBays unit, it's much cleaner with the hose routed underneath and the unique overflow design. But I wasn't sure how involved it would be with the brackets they provide. The Cobb unit was damn simple to install. Also - during my dyno session, the Cobb actually spewed coolant all over on my last E85 pull LOL. I replaced the radiator cap with a 1.3 bar, so far no issues. Great build! I'm still loving the 1.5XTR. I think the next big thing for me is FMIC. I may run into clearance issues with piping near the FPR (mine is in the same location as yours) and I have my fuel feed line running to a fuel filter installed where the secondary air pump normally is.
  20. Saw this on NASIOC this AM. Didn't realize you posted it here too. Sent you a PM for shipping. Let me know if this is still available.
  21. I've had somewhat good success with Black Wow trim restore. My dash wasn't sticky but it was white/chalky. I applied it in small sections and buffed off really well. It's hard to get an even coat so I applied this twice to make it look consistent. In the end, the finish had a slight sheen but not shiny. It was very close in appearance to all the other hard plastics. It's been a full year since the initial application, unfortunately the white/chalky appearance has returned. My car is also garage kept, since new. I would consider doing this again rather than a full dash repair. https://www.amazon.com/Black-Wow-BW04-4oz/dp/B00144FZUG/ref=lp_3019183011_1_1?s=specialty-aps
