Just out of curiosity do you have an aftermarket fuel pump?

I ran into the same issue that I'm in the middle fixing, but I had no boost at any range or speed. Dealership said my cats were clogged then some debris got into turbo and tore it up. Had them put the new turbo in and I'm doing a new headers back exhaust myself, when driving back from the dealer I noticed I had to be very sensitive on the gas because of the restricted air flow I had no boost, then too much it seemed. Might be your issue as well, minus the turbo getting torn up....

Maybe not. I'm on my 3rd turbo....I was thinking it could be a clogged cat or a bad fuel pump....I checked all other hoses and the turbo is fine

I would check the fuel pump, also check the UP cat if you haven't replaced it with a catless UP it could be the material jamming in there.

Same as everyone else's signatures, I think we contribute enough in terms of knowledgeable posts helping folks we could never possibly gain as clients to allow us to post up our logos and info so if someone local stumbles on our posts, they know how to reach us.

I think the question here is: why not just put it as part of your signature like msprank does? The way it looks now, it makes it seem like you're going out of your way to both alienate mobile users who don't want to see that much stuff on their phone every time you post and to make threads be cluttered when people quote you.

Signatures are only for Premium Donators / Vendors. You can upgrade your account at http://legacygt.com/forums/payments.php (You can just choose "premium donation" and it's a one time charge).

Once completed, there will be a 'signature' field in your UserCP, which you can use and will automatically apply to any post past, present, and future.

Signatures, as allowed via this mechanic, can be ignored by other members. They are also visually more restrictive than the current tagline you are using. These are the site rules though, and we're pretty happy with them keeping signal / noise down.

use premium gas-93 or better

when i start to drive, the car just doesnt want to accelerate, i have to almost floor it to get it to hit 20 mph...then once it hits 30-40ish mph, the car takes off like it has a rocket up its ass.

i cant data log, dont have anything to use...

and i havent tuned it or anything.

i would say thats completly normal for a 5 eat 2.5 gt. stock they are horribly slow.

the fact that it does make power past its lag means everything else is working

is fuel pump cats and turbo.

maybe you can find another car similar to yours to try and see if its similar ..

or do a 1/4 mile time.

andor try this .. hold brake pedal down firmly , give throttle until about 3000 rpm is reached and release brake and floor it ...

Now that's thinking out of the boxer!

fyi all 05 + legacy's have built in code reader

So let me just get this straight, we aren't allowed to post up pictures in posts on LGT anymore? We are no longer allowed to give out our information to potential clients in posts?

-mike

You do that anyway when you have all of that information in your signature.

We've been using the same tagline on every post for 1000s and 1000s of posts. This has not been a problem until now. Why would you change the rules after years and years of us posting, contributing and helping other members?

Something seems fishy for you to all of a sudden decide today that you don't like it.

Please enlighten us as to why after almost 3000 posts it is now a problem.
