Wrench for Hire - Rick @ Underdog Motorsports

In between quoting and processing orders I did get a little time to spin a wrench last week. This short block has been torn down and is being sent out for machining. Another short block goes on the bench today or tomorrow, along with a clean set of heads that will be P&P'd.

It actually wasn't too bad... thermals + sweats + work clothes + zip up + knit hat & gloves. My core was actually a bit warm in the middle of it, although my hands were near useless!

I felt bad for my customer, hanging out in the garage with me. I am looking forward to a proper commercial space with a waiting area. Oh, and HEAT.

Thanks for the timely service on my OBXT. It was pretty cold, but we managed. I will see you again soon, I would rather have a qualified Subaru gear-head wrench my car any day! Your Legacy is sweet, BTW.
Here's proof: Just 1 minute after buying my OBXT, I had 7 phone calls from insanely hot women, and got 7 dates out of it. Coincidence? I think not.

Thank you sir. It was a pleasure meeting you and taking care of your OBXT.

In non-Subaru news, I will have an '03 Trailblazer in the shop today for a cylinder #1 misfire diagnosis and repair. It is 20+ degrees in the shop today so I may only need five layers instead of six! Looking forward to the 50 degree weather mid-next week. :)

The owner of this beautiful '05 Garnet Red OBXT decided to replace his rusty & crusty, worn-out suspension with a new set of KYB Excel-G shocks/struts and a Hotckis front & rear swaybar set with Kartboy endlinks and AVO RSB brackets. The result: much tighter body control and roll stiffness with no loss of comfort!

Just wanted to give a bump to this incredible vendor and all around great guy! He has been helping me through both engine and suspension builds and I couldn't be more pleased with the customer support I receive from Rick prior and post purchase.

He's always willing to share his knowledge about Subarus and parts, even if you didn't purchase them from him. Just a stand up guy who has earned my future business.

Benjamin
