Just a bunch of bad performances IMO. Long snapper causes a shanked FG.. receivers ending their curl routes at 4 yards on a 3 & 5, stupid shit like that.. And of course that fumble-TD debacle.. so very close to being down by contact but the review was good. Skins earned that game. Giants kept making mistakes and Skins just kept on them. The Skins option plays confused them. They didn't know who to go after. Also, the Giants continued to feed the ball to Bradshaw when they should've just thrown more and exposed the Skins secondary. Bennett was open most of the night and probably could've had 300 yards all by himself. I believe the Skins recorded only one sack. Eli had all day to throw the ball into wide open zone coverage. dudeondacouch Posted December 4, 2012 Share Posted December 4, 2012 giants were running the ball because they were trying to play keep-a-way from RGIII. it worked pretty well actually. after 3 quarters, the skins had only run something like 28 offensive plays. eli just didn't come through with the winning drive that the strategy required to be successful.
