2010-2012 LGT and 2010-2014 3.R have same suspension, pretty sure all parts are interchangeable.

As to where to get them I used Subaru online parts for the 26mm bar (sub $90) as for whiteline I would search the forum as plenty have done it and know where to go

Late to the party here... So a 2013 3.6R FSB is 26mm and it fits my 10' LGT. That means I can buy this bar with endlinks + poly bushings from whiteline, and upgrade my rear RSB to 22mm? Is there a good site I can buy all of this from? Thx!

I think the only 26mm FSB that fits the GTs is the one that was discontinued by Whiteline. I'd be really interested if the 2013-14 FSB fits our cars, but I think the shape of it doesn't have all the twists and turns needed to clear the exhaust manifold.

The 1st pic is the 2013 OEM FSB and the 2nd one is the pic of the Whiteline 26mm FSB

whoa, so the OEM 2013-14 2.5i sway is 26mm??

Pretty sure. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Cars101 is wrong when it says that the 2013+ got an upgraded rear sway bar, they meant front sway bar, so I am guessing that all 2013-2014 Legacys got the 26mm upgrade. When looking up the parts on Subaru's parts website, the rear sway bar crosses over to all years from 2010-2014, the front sway bars are either 2010-2012 or 2013-2014.

Just got the 26mm in. Holy crap I'm glad i did it. The reduced body roll on the front end while going through a roundabout is awesome. Cant wait to see what its like on the highway tomorrow.

I thought I was done buying parts. I really did. I need to get away from this site for a few months...

Is there any aftermarket front endlinks that will work? I was looking at the Perrin ones because they seem like they'd hold up better than some clunky Whitelines (or so I heard that they become clunky). I can't imagine the front ones look any better than the stock rear ones so I might as well replace them.

This site says they're compatible, so I hope they're right.

Also found the FSB for $90. My cars definitely boaty. You might as well call me Chuck Noland from Cast Away.

Very few aftermarket front endlinks will work correctly, although most fit. Best bang for our 3.6R buck are the new 2015+ WRX front endlinks from Rallitek. They have the proper M12 bolts, which the 3.6R shares with the newer Subarus. LGTs and other 5th gens use M10 bolts and so their endlinks fit but are not ideal. Id rather go new stock than install M10 bolt endlinks where the mating hole is right-sized for M12.

In the back, either Rallitek (good, but adjustable, meh, they discontiued their great non adjustable version and have no more in stock anywhere). or SuperPro for the BRZ (ideal).

FSB Id do 26mm 2013+ 3.6R and new paired bushings.

RSB Id do 20mm 2015+ WRX and paired bushings, bolts right up.

Or 22mm Whiteline adjustable, set to medium or hard.

Thanks for the links! I've got those adjustable Ralliteks here right now actually. My 20mm hasn't shipped out yet so maybe I'll see if I can cancel it and order the 21mm one. Or I actually just found this used one on eBay:

It's for sure 21mm? A vendors post here on Nasioc shows its a 20mm. I would take your word though since you have a '15 WRX

Thanks for the tip about the front links. I hadn't known about the bolt size until now.

Yes, Joe is correct... Not sure what I was drinking smoking or both kast night.

Must be old age setting in. The 2015+ is 20mm. I think plenty and good balance for the 26mm up front, but if you prefer the 22mm Whiteline adjustable or SuperPro are another good option.

2013+ facelift. Beefed up FSBs, same puny RSB. new springs and struts/shocks, some redesigned control arm bushings (pillow tops) up front and in the back if I remember correctly. All shimmy TSB updates to the steering rack, rack n pinion bushings, steering wheel mount and vibration dampener already part of production line updates as of sometime in mid to late 2012.

So the FSB and the bushings arrived rather quickly (like two days after ordering) So that's in store very soon. Also using some RalliTEK endlinks, the larger M12 bolt ones as you suggested and I can't thank you enough because I probably would have ended up with the M10's and wondered why the links were clunking around.

Just wanted to add on my experience with this install. First things first, don't mess with the tierod. It's just a waste of time. It's pretty easily doable by just lifting the control arm. Secondly, if you drive your car in the snow/salt your endlinks will most likely have rusted threads like mine and expect to be sawing them off. For some reason I found it easier to pull the bar out from the drivers side versus the passengers. It was bumping into the exhaust but it cleared it on the passenger side? Kinda strange. You'll have to have to pull back the wheel well cover a tad to squeeze the bar through.

I wish I could remember exactly how I did it but I turned the wheel to the left, I lifted up the passenger side control arm, maneuvered the bar forward towards the grill, then over the tierod, lowered down the control arm, then lifted the driver side control arm, and maneuvered the bar forward and over that tie rod. Eventually I was able to wiggle it towards me and it came out. Getting the new one in was a breeze after that. I changed out the bushings and torqued down the bar first so I knew it was in position, then lifted one arm to attach the link on that side, then the other side.

It was definitely worth it. The cars noticeably more planted and helped reduce the body roll a lot. Also, on the highway, it stays going straight so much better. It practically drives itself. No more crosswinds blowing the car around. I should also note that I went from a 16mm to 20mm rear sway which also affected the handling characteristics.

Just got my Subie not too long ago. It is a 2014 Legacy 3.6R.

Reading this blog, the modifications to improve handling include an increased rear sway bar.

https://www.rallysportdirect.com/part/sway-bars/whi-bsr49xz-whiteline-rear-sway-bar-22mm-adjustable

Also people mention "paired bushings" to go with the front and back sway bars. Can someone please provide me with a link to purchase quality bushings that thy recommend?

I also read that people recommend pairing sway bars with end links. Can anyone enlighten me on what end links are and their necessity?

I have been told that air intakes are simple ways to improve performance. Anyone have thoughts on this?

These are the 2 that I have seen recommended

Anyone know about mufflers? This is will be my every day car and I would like it to keep it street legal/pass smog/stay within manufacturer warranty, so keeping that in mind anyone recommend any good mufflers?

Anyone have any opinion on exchanging mufflers without improving the cat converter??

This is one of the few I have been directed to.

Hope you all can help me. Excited to be a part of the Subie Family
