That looks sick. You took your time and it paid off big time!

I plan to wrap my street bike in 3M Di-NOC carbon then clear it. Seen samples and it looks like real carbon fiber. Have custom painted but not done vinyl yet. I have a heat gun and tons of patience. It will make for a fun winter project. PM me if you have any tips for me. However sport bikes have complex curves and I hope the vinyl is forgiving like they say it is.

Wow! Great job on the wrapping. Awesome choice of vinyl too. I know exactly what brushed aluminum looks like in person, because my "L7" badges are in the "colour".

What wheels are those? And what are the specs? They fit so nicely. I love the no hellaflush, no stretch&poke look.

Also, more info and close-ups of those gauges please. I'd like to do something like that.

There are definitely some very difficult contours to wrap. The front bumper was the biggest pain in the ass. Di-NOC and brushed metal are not as forgiving as a solid-colored vinyl; you can't stretch it around corners as well as you think. Make sure to buy some extra vinyl to practice on and when you're ready to give up, just hit me up.

Thanks! Wheels are Prodrive GC-05 and they are super rare. I was pretty happy to find them! They are 18x8 with 245/35s on em... The widest I could go. I think the Hellaflush look is only appropriate on a few cars and totally pointless. What happened to having the fattest tires you could fit?

Gauges are Defi/STi gauge pack. Also hard to find, but I can send you in the right direction it you're interested.

Late to the game- car looks sick but wondering if you had cut out the post in the front bumper in front of the fmic and filled it? Or am I missing having seen a bumper like that?

I had the post removed and filled in a few years back... I really don't like the look of the factory bumper and it looks a lot better with a front mount in there.

Do not use "Di-Noc" for this. Use the 1080 series from 3m. Most resellers(ebay and such) mislabel these and they are not the same. The carbon fiber texture is ill-suited for complex and extreme curves as it does not stretch and breaks on the texture lines.

Also applying a clear coat over looks like shit. Ive tried samples with ultra thin wrap laminates and liquid laminates and they both turn out like garbage.

No matter how smooth you lay it (even on flat surfaces such as a hood or roof) the texture will have a "wavy" pattern.
