PutnamCO
It's worth it IMO, but STI mufflers are not worth it for $150. I see these regularly locally for $50. If you want a bit more of the growl, it's a great way to get there.
blackdiamond18
A little late, but I was able to get the 11' sti exhaust with 50k miles on it for $50. The guy said he just wanted to get rid of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
benena
Cool. I heard that with some fabrications at a exhaust shop, they can bolt on the whole sti cbe on a 05 lgt sedan. Anyone have any information on this?

03wrxsubi
I am getting a sti catback tomorrow and test fitting the whole thing this weekend. I will keep yall posted, can't believe no one has done this and posted the results.
03wrxsubi
If anybody is curious, I bolted the sti midpipe on and it seems like it would need to be extended back a couple of inches so it could fit correctly. As soon as I'm able to get it to an exhaust shop i will have it put on.

blackdiamond18
Did it bolt up fine? Or did you have to shift things around?
mikeyvt
Did it bolt up fine? Or did you have to shift things around? From what I can remember from mine the hangars on the muffler had to be moved but not sure on the rest.

03wrxsubi
Sorry time and money were against me, will be having the exhaust installed Saturday morning. I will make sure to take pics.
03wrxsubi
Finally got the exhaust put on this morning, happy with it overall good sound. Will be having some custom tips made later for better fitment. Piping had to be extended some to push the mufflers as far back as possible. http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/ab336/03wrxsubi/IMAG0374_zpsybdv61ld.jpg All the hangers needed to be redone, including the mufflers. http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/ab336/03wrxsubi/IMAG0375_zpsv2ti0tlo.jpg This was as high as the mufflers could go because any higher and y pipe would hit the rear sway bar. http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/ab336/03wrxsubi/IMAG0376_zps2zxya19g.jpg

Is it noticeably louder? I little louder is good, but not obnoxiously loud. How much did it cost?

Great while driving, you can hear it but not loud. Catback was $80 and install was $80 as well, very happy with it.
