pretty jealous of your skirt finding, ive been looking for months!

Its all good. My friend found skirts in better shape than his, so I got the hand me downs...One is a little messed up. His sister borrowed his car, got a flat, and jacked the car up by the side skirt.

So yesterday I had a busy day. Went to two pick and pull yards and got a bunch of parts. I got an OEM underseat sub and traded it for an Apexi axel back:

I also picked up a 2nd set of door card inserts. I recovered them last night and installed today:

I also picked up a JDM power mode and hold switch from a BH Legacy this week:

Also got another strut tower cover to trim and replace the one I broke when trimming it in the winter to fit over the strut bar, all weather mats and a leather owner's manual book cover thing from an 05 Legacy:

Here is an update. Last night I went to a friends to try to install the axle back exhaust. Turns out my exhaust is so rusted that even a torch couldn't get the nuts and bolts on it to break lose. Its not leaking, but at this point we decided not to mess with it and break anything. We also started on the JDM power mode switch from a 3rd gen, but we could not get it to look clean like it was meant to be in a 2nd gen, so we again decided to scrap that project for now. On the plus side I did get a pic of my car at night with all the lights on. Oh and he gave me another Hella 500, so I now have a spare.

So my project for Sunday was a small but time consuming one. I wanted to make the JDM power/hold switch look clean in my car. This is proving to be a little harder than I thought since it came from a BE/BH. I started with a holder thing for the center console I took out of my car a while back. I cut an opening for the wiring harness to come through and test fitted the switch:

Once I decided I like that placement I decided to make a cover to try and make the whole thing look more clean. I started with a cardboard template, which I didn't take picture of. Then moved on to a piece of plastic I cut out of my grill when installing the Hella 500s:

All in all, for using a Dremel for the cutting it turned out OK. I am going to redo it with something easier to work with, like gravoply. I hope to get it to my liking and get it wired in soon.

I just need to clean it up. I am going to sand the sides flat and see how it fits. Then just paint it black and go from there. I am still working on this, need to fit my side skirts, paint the front lip to match the paint on the side skirts, find a rear lip, and that is it for now. I will probably do the front SS brake lines when I have to change the pads next.

Nice wagon man! Really like it!

What kind if wheels are those? They look sharp! And what size wheel/tire combo did you go with?

Thanks man. The wheels are Drag DR34's. They are 17x7.5 +45. Tires are 205/45/17 Nitto Neogens. I love the tires. Very good grip in the dry and wet. OK in the snow.

Here is what I have done so far today. I took the 3rd gen din pocket with lid and trimmed it to fit the button in:

In that picture it was still plastidipped. You can also see where the dremel slipped. I this one it has been covered with vinyl to match the dash pieces around it. I just need my friend to solder it in. I already have a fog light switch working for the power mode. I will reuse the ground set up of that. This is going in under the radio so I will tap power of that for the light in this switch. Hopefully will get it put in next weekend.
