His roomate used to pull stock Subaru badges apart and paint them to sell, so he is well aware of the types of things we aree looking for. He'll have a pic up soon I bet. Tronix Posted July 14, 2005 Share Posted July 14, 2005 I think they may have sent me the wrong decal. a rear instead of a front maybe? check it out, I ordered a front decal. the invoice says front.. It looked a little small, but I centered it up and put it on, but its quite small.. it actually shows about 1/4" of the subaru emblem underneath on both sides.. I got mine yesterday, but didn't measure/check anything, I ordered both (front/rear), so I'll check it when I get home tonight......I hope they fit, they look awesome! mudfoot Posted July 15, 2005 Share Posted July 15, 2005 They are exactly what you've stated..When you put it over it to try and line it up it looks to small... the only other thing to see is if some else who has an USDM badge could confirm measurements. The only measurment we seem to differ with is the front width. I measured 4 1/8 in. I did take my time measuring .. but I could be wrong... I do love the way they look.. They say "DO NOT STRETCH THE LOGO" But they do tell you to heat it up with the hair dry'r. I didn't put mine on, but lined them up. PGT Posted July 15, 2005 Share Posted July 15, 2005 I wouldn't heat it up. I have stretchable vinyl for the chrome I am goinng to cover....these logo's are made from alot higher quality stuff. I got an email back from Sean - to clarify, the 'reflective' vinyl is the one that is stiff. The metallic stuff should be just like the others. I'll contact Ryan to see if I Can get the rear logo replaced.. I'll send him a picture of it. I havent tried the front yet. I hope that doesnt do the same thing.
