Ewww. That makes no sense at all. Your Outback kinda' reminds me of your 20R Legacy btw...

this could be a totally stupid question (and I'm sure you've already checked this) but isn't there spacers between the engine cross member, lower control arms, etc and the body of an outback that would make an unfriendly angle for the cv shafts if lowered? i thought i read some where that those spacers should be removed if lowering an outback, but i could be wrong...

Thanks for saying something about it. I haven't heard that, but I'll look into it. I have my 95 Sedan lowered and have had no issues...But I'll double check on everything.

And yes, the cars are brothers lol. I have matching cars ^_^. Its a trip to see them both together. And I still catch myself saying stuff like "I'm working on the Legacy" and my wife just looks at me like I'm stupid haha. Its starting to become "The Sedan" and "The Wagon"

yeah, if the previous ricers didn't remove them there are the spacers as well as different various mounts.

Well, I think I solved my problems with having now power.

The "previous ricers" put some random ignition coil on it....and it didnt fit so they spliced it into the harness???

I bought a new coil....and my plug wires didnt work so I had to buy a new wireset too. I have driven about 45 miles since then, and the car seems much happier now. I have pics of the madness coming soon

Update(s)?

The wagon was a giant piece of garbage. I got rid of it and someone else wound up with it...rebuilt the entire car with a bunch of STI stuff and painted it white.

The sedan was stolen.

I now have a 96 Outback wagon and a 96 GT wagon.
