Jab83
This is not a DIY its just the best way i could find to do it for anyone who had some really jacked up rims. I'll post pics (before and after) and a list of all the things i tried for stripping the only paint/nastiness they had on em. I will post pics later today. of before stripping and after. Then products i used to do it.

Jab83
how i sanded/cleaned up the rims is i went to walmart bought a wire brush thing that goes on a drill and also got paint stripper. I was able to get ride of most of the stuff in one day. I need to do a little touching up. I'll update when i start painting. but i'lll prob just do like 2 coats of primer. 3 or 4 of paint then 3 or 4 of clear coat. And i'll be paintin em black. I Donated broknindarkagain Posted June 13, 2011 I Donated Share Posted June 13, 2011 Before you paint, hand sand them with a fine grit sand paper. The wire brush wheels sometimes leave some pretty rough spots -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
