Had a blizzard recently so I swapped to the third gen wheels and snow tyres then went looking for somewhere to do broggies. hansvonaxion Posted June 9, 2013 Author Share Posted June 9, 2013 Got a couple of carbon bits, well the mirrors are carbon wrap I assume, the bumper protector is a bit silly but it was reasonably priced, after cleaning it my hands were full of carbon shards. There's a few more carbon bits I want but hard to find at reasonable prices. Mainly a carbon bonnet with the OEM shape (not the oversized scoop). Went home that night and bought the first set of rain visors I could find. Will try to put them on this weekend, is there a DIY floating around? They're too long to ship internationally through the post office but I'm sure I've read of people who found some others meant for different cars or generic ones that fit well. Will try to patch it back together so it's driveable and keep it going until the rego runs out then scrap it. In the meantime I think I'll pull off most of the aftermarket bits and sell them to fund the repairs. The intake is seriously noisy, but kind fun with the whooshing and everything. The headlight is not straight, should be OK though. Sorry for broken links, I moved all the pics to a different folder. Some bad news, the car wouldn't start the other day and it was in a paid car park. Error code for MAF. Ended up having it towed away to be scrapped today, not much else I could do all things considered. Managed to pull some parts off; Sequential controller and plug 'n play harness Mine's #1 ECU Ganador carbon mirrors with Prova blue lenses Cusco carbon rear strut tower bar If anyone wants any of it (prefer to sell all of it at once, or at least bundle some of it), shoot me a PM before I put it all up for sale.
