leftcoast74
I think the older rs 2.5 looks alright. I'm a sucker for convertibles as I live in socal. I do agree that new sti looks ugly with that top. Down or up.
FrozenNorthLGT
I think the 4 doors are the biggest problem. If it had 2 it would kinda have similarity with a 3rd gen eclipse convertible with a big wing. I'm not saying that's pretty....but at least better than a 4 door convertible. michelino1968
the idea of making a convertible version is not bad at all, but how they did it here....no way ! It's all out-of-proportion, almost seems photoshopped. Apart the security concern after such a structural modification. I would have thought of a retractible hard-top such as Mercedes, Audi etc. No roll-bar, and no fixed wings/spoilers (just maybe a motorized one like Porsches). And please, no textile roof like the Beetle/Golf1 etc. ! That's just horrible. A clean line from the front window to the rear, that's what makes a real "cabriolet"

Ryed
Looks kinda PT-Loserish to me. Like others have said, the 4 doors don't help, and that spoiler looks horrible. red beast
the bigger question.... why would you make a convertible in a cold New England state instead of sunny California?
faded-a-fool
In San Diego, you still don't see too many convertibles. Maybe the thought of accidents with stupid ass drivers in southern California negate the want.
