Much thanks, I had the grill and tint done by Rich at underground tinting and customs.

He charged me $50 for di-noc including labor, he said the corners were a little tricky but that it adhered well still. I believe the sheet wouldn't need to be much larger than the grill itself, though.

Isn't Rich@Underground somewhere in LI, NY?

If so, you came all the way from MA based on your loc.

........looks good though!

Thanks! I'm debating having him wrap a few more pieces of the car when I can find the time. Wheels and springs have to come first, though.

Indeed Rich is located in Bohemia out on LI, which is also near where I am at school for the majority of the year, had I been in MA I would have gone to AJW Performance most likely.

no its 3m matte black vinyl' date=' same stuff the guy above used that looks carbon fiber I just wanted matte black instead[/quote']

I want to de-chrome my window trim like you've done, a-la shadowline trim for sport package equipped BMWs.

How long did the whole process take? As of now I plan on using the plasti-dip method.

How much in vinyl did you end up using vs how much was purchased?

I live about an hour away, I'll be visiting Bohemia soon. What was the cost like?

$50 for the vinyl and his time, I also had him install 35% Llumar tint on the same day.

I would recommend Rich to anyone looking for vinyl or tint.

He had just installed Suntek carbon film on his personal car as a test, a film I had run on my previous LGT and was overall unhappy with due to the discoloration looking out from inside the car, everything had a pale pink tint to it, he shared my feelings and chose not to offer it in his shop.

I have a buddy in town that does window tint, clear bra and wraps for a living and he owed me for hooking him up on some tires so i didnt pay a thing. It took him about 2 hours to do everything while we shot the shit and im sure he could have finished it faster if I wasnt there talking to him the whole time. He buys it in a roll so i dont know how much it would cost he said if i was paying he would have charge 100 bucks for the trim and the grill.

he is trying to talk me into using the carbon fiber on the hood, roof and trunk he did a couple lambo's and a few other high end sports cars and it looks sick but i think i'm going to stick with the matte black theme if i do it at all

Bump for SSM!! Put on Winter set up this weekend. Installed 15mm spacers to clear the OEM rims for a 40mm offset.

That looks really good with the spacers/OEM wheels.

Yes, the spacers do reduce that awkward gap. I will add that the Rally Armor flaps have eliminated the road grime and splatter spun onto the rear doors and front/rear of the rear fenders. The OEM flaps could not eliminate this at 35mm with the summers and my guesstimate is they woun not have helped with the winter setup.

I hate silver cars, but Subaru doesn't understand that some of us need a black interior. The steel silver was the best color offered with black interior. So in order to add a little color to my car, I added yellow center caps. I like it!

I was not big on the silver either, but this steel silver is darker than most. I initially was steering towards the graphite grey but the chrome trim stuck out too much and not so much on the SSM.

Have you thought of painting your calipers yellow? That would complement the caps!!

I have a set of 4 pot wrx calipers to put on. Planning to rebuild them this winter, and paint them yellow. Need money and time for the rebuild kit. House and wife is getting all my financial attention right now.

So here's mine...just a few functional changes until now - lights (inner+trunk/Hi-beam+position/fog/license-plate), rear mudflaps, rear trunk lip protection, side/front/back protection, side window deflectors..
