This is my WIP Leggo. Trying to make it JDM as possible. Still need LED side mirrors, hellas installed, and carbon di-noc vinyl over the chrome trim, and other places....

Your mods make it look nothing like a japan model.

Thanks for sharing some great pics of cool mods - particularly where the 'traditional' subie wing has been removed, and also those game (and skilled enough) to blackout their headlamp housings. I've seen many instances, and I must admit its something I dont think I'd have the know-how or confidence to do!

Here in Aussie-land, we are fortunate enough to have the JDM liberty/legacy available for our local market.

Heres our steel-silver LGT wagon... I already had a black car in a previous life (looked great albeit only for a few hours after a wash and polish).

We just picked up a new camera, so still trying to work out the optimal night settings (hence why a tad grainy)

OK so the car is not clean, it's misting outside. This is a work in progress, but wanted to get this out so you can see fitment on stock springs. Still need to add lugs, Bremebo fronts, paint rear calipers, and add the RCE springs to lower 3/4".

A shout out to Waaazooo, as these were previously on his car. Rota G-Force 18x9; 245/40/R18s. First impressions is the extra rubber rocks, as with pushing outwards. Appreciating the extra grip and stance on the corners even with stock suspension (plus RSB). Very noticeable => A smoother transition going into the corner.

Enduro 916s. They are noisy at lower speeds but have done well in the rain. OK so they scream like a monkey 40 and below.

IF you think these are loud (I'm sorry because I know that was the only reason you considered keeping them on the wheel) but compared to the star-specs which were an easy twice as loud. But for the price they seem to be pretty good tires.

So far, they have been good tires. I don't have any other tires to compare with at this profile but the LGT handles much much better. Between the extra rubber on the ground and the offset, the LGT is a different handling machine. The chassis settles in much better into the corner with less roll with much improved tracking through the corner. Rolling resistance does not seem to be much more than the winter tires. They've been great in the recent heavy rain. Braking at 40 is when they are the noisiest. Over the spectrum of speeds I must drive at, 40 mph is maybe 10-15% of the time.

All in all, I remain quite pleased.... until the recent fender bender.

New wheels finally installed:

http://desmond.yfrog.com/Himg620/scaled.php?tn=0&server=620&filename=gntgt.jpg&xsize=640&ysize=640

18'' OZ Prodrive with 225 45 18 Continental ExtremeContact

The more I look at it the more it seems like 16'' wheels in there because the wheel well is so big.
