I bought this 11 Legacy 3.6R Limited new last June.

I have since added wheels (second try already as I was unimpressed by the quality of the MRR Wheels), tinted the windows and debadged it. I have 6000K HID's and LED's coming this week. I have plans of lowering with Swift Springs as well as whiteline swaybars and a new catback exhaust (make and model TBD). Cosmetically, I plan to replace the front grill, add a lower front grill and a splitter. I may replace the horns, add a rear fog light set and I would love to add a REAL subwoofer to the stereo and keep the stock headend unit.

This forum has lots of good info and plenty of funny people, so it figured I would start to participate some more (although I am sure that will lower the curve for value and humor). See ya around.

I will do a photoshoot next month, after the weather is better. The latest pix I have are w/o BBK :/

Thanks.... he's contemplating on a 5th gen and wanted to see one tastefully modded... I showed him one of your earlier shots and he loved it. He wants to test drive my 3.6R.... but I'm hesitant ;)

Hey man nice looking car. Think before you lower that baby with swift springs though. The car is low to start with and you have to watch curbs, speedbumps, and big potholes. What tint % did you have done? It looks nice.

Took delivery of a MY10 Liberty 2.5i sports CVT

Previous car was a My05 3.0RB 6spd

A very generous trade in price was too hard to resist so I bite the bullet and changed over

Still getting used to the sheer size of the car. Initial impressions are the CVT is very smooth, the confinement and build quality are also very

impressive

Did this:

1) plastic protection for front + side underbumper, made of black plastic "L" profile, 3 mm thick

http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/6379/p1010703b.jpghttp://img16.imageshack.us/img16/2685/p1010702r.jpg

... it's not yet the 100% perfect fit, 2 little waves have remained due to the heavy curving in that area...I'll fix it with heating gun + counterprofile as soon as I can.

Although from some 1-2 metres away You don't see it. Might also cut away that front part where it curves upwards, in order to keep it flowing with the bumper.

My first priority was to get good coverage of the underbumper area (30 mm) + front part (5 mm) against scratching/scraping.

2) stainless steel door sills for front and rear

http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/8923/p1010704j.jpghttp://img545.imageshack.us/img545/6504/p1010705z.jpg

... I know the car is dirty outside, just had the time the other day to clean it inside....next 2-3 days are going to be rainy, so a bath needs to wait :)

It been a while since I put up a pic in this thread... I wanna say I'm done with modding, but we all know how that works... Lol...

Nice roof rack. Looks secure. Your name and license plate somehow don't match the background.

Thanks! It's actually really nice here but we try to keep it a secret.

What rack did you end up going with?

Went with the Whispbar rack.

That is a sweet looking 3.6R! It looks like you are running 19" wheels. What have you done to the suspension? I have 18" wheels on mine and the suspension is next on my list.

Holy bikes, Batman!

=> that was my same thought when I first checked on how to transport our 4 bikes...I assure You it looks much tougher than it really was in the end.

No wind noise, no movement whatsoever neither at Highway speed (110 km/h) nor through curvy mountain roads !

Only thing: gas consumption went up by approx. 20%....didn't expect otherwise though (air flow resistance).

Only way to avoid this would have been to use a 4-bike loader on a tow hook, but for that price (approx. Euro 1000,-) ? No thanks.
