Magic Marker
I can feel the difference. Specifically, more stable on the highway. Before, my car seemed to float as if being hit by wind when it wasn't windy. Not any more. Also feels more stable in tight turns. I still need to get mine done. 2011 Volvo S60T6 & 2013 Volvo XC60T6 Polestar
Jett
Installed this part on my 11 GT a couple of nights ago. Good impressions so far. Cornering is definately flatter and it handles alot better in my opinion. This is the way the car should have come from Indiana. Install is a 20 minute job (backed up on ramps) and is very straight forward, tighten what you loosened kinda deal.
pcargila
held off on ordering this myself and put it on my christmas list. heh
weaveleftnright
Anyone know if this part will work on the 08 3.0R? Did you guys all order them from subaruonlineparts.com or elsewhere? They had a link on the site that had a good write up on the part with pictures for the outback. [link] Thanks.
max6spd
Waiting for my friend to upgrade his on his STi so I can get his stock one. Too cold out there anyway. Not really going to start modding until the weather warms up.

Galager
When I did this on a forester, it was always a good idea to upgrade the endlinks as well, the stiffer bar could bend them. Anyone have pictures of the whole endlink area?
dxsmith12
Finally ordered this same bar today. When installing, is there any lubrication needed on the bushings? I believe the Rallitek setup comes with some sort of 'bushing grease'. If lubrication was required, what did you all use? Thanks
Odlgt
I didn't lube mine and there didn't appear to be any on the old setup either. IF it starts to squeek ill put some lithium grease on it or something but until then I think it's fine. o
frankbrunke
For the guys who installed the bar, do you see a difference? I see a few posts about a more "grounded" feel. Just wanted to follow up after a few weeks of running with the new addition.

minuccims
Also, the car is far more planted on rough surfaces. There is less side to side motion. Winter driving has been much better.

minuccims
Are these RSB recommended for the 2011 Legacy 2.5i cars also? YES!! But if you drive agressive, consider a stiffer RSB and endlinks. Peaty
http://peatpics.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=104973 I've got some install pics there, not exactly the same setup but you can get the idea what is involved. I've driving with mine for a while now and find it is a very nice improvement. Using KB links involved rotating the rear shocks 180° not needed with stock endlinks. Not difficult but more involved to be sure. When the weather gets warmer I may try a stiffer setting, not sure I'd want to try that with the stock endlinks Peaty, 2019 Imp Sport 5 Dr (Mine) 2013 Outback Premium (Wife's) 2010 Legacy 3.6R (Son), 2001 Forester S (other son) 1999 Miata (my summer ride)

That is the swaybar in my link above. I can only compare it to stock not the upgraded one mentioned in the post. There are a couple of advantages to it. It typically comes with the extra bracing pictured: http://peatpics.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=110006&g2_serialNumber=1 http://peatpics.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=110010&g2_serialNumber=1 http://peatpics.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=104974&g2_serialNumber=1 and it's adjustable. The disadvantage is I'm not sure I'd be comfortable using stock endlinks and it does not look stock which may be a good or bad thing depending on your tastes. minuccims
16mm: Stock RSB (not adjustable) 19mm: Subaru upgrade RSB (not adjustable) 20mm: (Pictured by Peaty) Whiteline 3-pt adjustable RSB with support brace 22mm: (Pictured below) Whiteline 3-pt adjustable RSB with support brace I have the 22mm set on the softest setting (I belive this is equivellent to 20mm) with OEM endlinks. Selected the Whiteline RSB with the support brace included: "The KBR15 Support Brace Kit from Whiteline is designed to reduce flex and fatigue of the original swaybar mounting components and increase swaybar performance. Suited for the rear mounts only and is highly recommended for upgrated swaybars." I ended up selected the adjustable RSB with support brace to permit an upgrade path. bradygo
I just installed the outback 19mm RSB on my LGT--the install was relatively straight forward. I can't really imagine screwing it up, considering how easy it was. When I test drove the car, though, part of me thought that the car now had more roll through corners. I noticed more understeer, but I can't shake the idea that my car is rolling more. Perhaps I wasn't looking too hard for body roll before installing the RSB, and now that I've installed and begun evaluating it, I'm actively looking for roll. Am I just being hypersensitive, or is it possible that I installed the RSB incorrectly in a manner that allows for more roll?
