Kodax
So many buttons...I am amazed that car doesn't have a button to shoot missiles out of it's bayonet.
Bolksey85
So many buttons...I am amazed that car doesn't have a button to shoot missiles out of it's bayonet. It doesn't have that but it does have the ability to literally blow the doors off of the body if the car lands on it's roof in a rollover. The door harness and everything comes off after the bolts blow and the door can be removed with next to no effort.
elpete77
it is surprising to me that a car with that sticker price has so many cardboard interior pieces. you'd think they could spring for maybe some plastic or something. sheesh.

GTTuner
Gull wing doors, Ugghhhh, so rice. Ruins the car IMHO.
Bolksey85
Yeah, this is hardcore rice, right? http://www.seriouswheels.com/pics-mno/Mercedes-Benz-300-SL-Coupe-FA-DO-1024x768.jpg
Penguin
Gull wing doors, Ugghhhh, so rice. Ruins the car IMHO. It's not rice if your company invented the original. Now go do an oil change on a Sebring or something useful.
John M
One of the local Benz club guys has a mint 300SL that makes appearances all over the country, even for Mercedes corporate events. The best part is he drives it -- it's never trailered! Just don't ask anyone if they're a member of the North American Mercedes Benz Lovers Association! We're not talking Lambo doors on someone's Accord.
burnout8488
Odd, the front end looks like a GTR at first glance in thumbnail format. Other than that, I love how this looks like a vintage SL. Beautiful. Just beautiful.
ehsnils
I like the front on the original a bit better aside from the headlights. In any case - the gullwings on the original was there due to the chassis and not as a design feature. The new one doesn't seem to need the gullwing doors, but it sure shows heritage - and some boldness from Mercedes too!
GTTuner
Just my opinion guys, lambo doors are rice! Actually those are "Gull Wing" doors. (Nazi doors). Totally different animal. I'm surprised no one picked up on that. You flamers are slipping fast! BTW, You never change the oil on a Sebring, you just drive and dispose after. rao
Obviously it is no match for a Spec B and I bet it handles poorly in the snow. Otherwise it is a nice enough car if you like its looks.
