sportwagon
The defi control unit is now in my ashtray! Wooo Hooo! It's something I've wanted to do for quite some time, but haven't had the balls to do! Well I finally just decided to do it! I've had it out of the car for a while and I studied it and the way it came a part, but it all really started yesterday when I hacked it up! I basically took the front door off, then hacked up the rest of it so the half din unit would fit in, and use the swiveling mechanism for the ashtray to hold and guide the unit. Pictures are worth 1000000000000000 words... so I'll get to it!

sportwagon
looks great! i just want a Defi boost gauge, but i don't know if i want it bad enough to spend $500 for it and the damn control module. lol... I originally bought just a defi BF turbo gauge... afterwards I realized I needed a control unit... duh! So I ordered one along with the two other gauges and the triple gauge pod for my WRX (they were in it, but I took them out to put in the GT)... But I got myself into a deep spending splurge, just from buying on boost gauge! Once I had that... and I couldn't use it, I had to buy the control unit, and there's nosense having that for just one gauge... and more gauges required a cool gauge pod! lol So there goes almost $800! Underdog
I noticed that you don't have the gap between the shifter surround trim piece and the HVAC trim piece... Did you have to fix it or were you lucky enough to not have it? The Crimson Dynamo
sportwagon
How does the center console piece come out? Does it simply snap in to place? Just pull up from the back side (by the cup holders) you can grab it by leather and pull up, too!
