I honestly thought I had posted in this thread a long time ago, but apparently not, so here goes for the working people in the house tonight:

56-57 next month. Older than most, not all, but most dirt and even some water.

2005 Subaru Legacy GT 2.55 5EAT Non Limited with (gasp) cloth interior

ENGINE COMPARTMENT

Bored to 100mm, diamond honed, decked and surfaced block by Thirlby Automotive in Traverse City Michigan

STi Forged and Nitrided crank

Manley H Beam rods

CP 100mm Forged pistons

King race bearings

ARP Block bolts, rod bolts, head studs, and basically just about every bolt and stud.

Moroso 6 quart oil pan and pickup-completely studded and I USE A GASKET

Brian Crower Ti Springs and retainers

Supertech valves

Agency Power Equal Length Header-DEI Ti wrapped

Grimmspeed Up pipe-DEI-Ti wrapped

Cobb catted down pipe-DEI Ti wrapped

What started out as Ebay catback-modified with Schoenfeld racing muffler in the mid pipe and entire mid pipe to the Y is DEI Ti wrapped (try it, it works great to adjust the interior sound of the exhaust)

Perrin turbo inlet and post MAF hose

Cobb EBCS

K&N Panel filter

Perrin fuel rails and equal length braided stainless fuel lines

Stewart Warner mechanical "Truth" oil pressure gauge under the hood

Mishimoto aluminum radiator

Custom made (by me) aluminum upper radiator hose spacer

Perrin TMIC heat coated in red and Perrin TBH

A-Spec front strut tower support

All silicone vacuum hoses, all zip tied

JMP Custom VF40 with Thermal Zero blanket and Grimmspeed heat shield

Subtle alternator and radiator covers

New Mishimoto belts

More I'm too tired to list

SUSPENSION

BC BR coilovers with Swift Springs (cmon guys, bust on me, I can take it :p)

Whiteline front LCA bushings front and rear (and I clean up and paint everything I touch so my knuckles, LCA are painted red to match the Perrin sway bars)

Whiteline RCA kit

Perrin 25mm sway bars front and rear

Perrin rear sway bar supports

Perrin heim joint aluminum sway bar end links

Most of the bushings have been replaced with Energy Suspension (met the rep at SEMA several years ago and he made me a hell of a deal on the all I needed-like-less than $100 shipped :))

SSR 18x8x45 Comps with Federal SS595 225/40-18

BRAKES

Stock LGT calipers all around with Ti shims

Custom made front brake vents (by me) that route air directly to the center of the rotor so it cools the FWB and the rotor at the same time from the inside out

Stoptech pads (just removed the Hawk HPS-sick of dust and squeal)

Centric Cryo rotors-flat blanks-all 4

Goodrich stainless brake hoses

Wilwood EXP 600 Plus brake fluid

Grimmspeed master cylinder brace (bought it 3 years ago and never installed it-never needed it)

INTERIOR

Not much here. MOMO pedals to match the wheel and shift knob

Installed the OE Sub under DS

Forgot to add-Block8Head dual vent gauge pod with AEM OP and AFR gauges and cubby pod with Glowshift Boost and Transmission Temp gauges

And...after all...it is Munnday, is it not?

I am completely jealous of all of you with the perfect front bumpers and hoods. How do you avoid stone chips and road wear? My car has 93K on it and the front is truly not in very good shape. I see your photos up close and your bumper covers and front edges look great.

YOU BASTARDS ! !

Ooops...did I say that out loud? Sorry.

I know that feel. My front needs TLC to the point I contemplated JDM front swap instead of just painting the bumper and hood to call it a day.

I also updated my post to the 2015 version everyone is doing now.

I know the feeling. The pictures that I've posted of my lgt make my front bumper and hood look very nice. In reality, they need some tlc :(. Although I'm almost 160k (currently at 159.7k), I've been considering getting the hood and bumper redone, however, I don't really want to spend the money at the moment lol :spin::p

Wow! How did you afford such a car at such a young age!

a dealership in my area posted it for sale not knowing how special it was. so i jumped on the occasion. i was planning on getting an 2012 impreza hatch (5spd), but one day on cars.com a spec.b popped up (it was my dream first car). it was a stretch to afford it, but in the end it was worth it. My family helped me get the money for it and i can slowly pay them back. I've only had the car for 6 days and i'm absolutely in love. I sometimes feel guilty that its a pretty sweet ride for a 17 year old, but im glad that i had the opportunity.

Man that's awesome! I picked my wagon up for a steal of a deal too but I got it when I was 19. Drive safe and keep it looking good!

Thanks for the kind words about my wagon! I appreciate it!
