Who wants to measure the Legacy bumper for me or you could measure the lip itself :) ? Just need corner to corner (corner of wheel well and lower bumper) and depth (corner to front of bumper).

I thought there was a post with those measurements but couldn't find it with my search skills, they must suck.

so my lip arrived. All scratched up, sanded spots, slight discoloration here and there. Packaged properly. Sealed in bag with new bolts and mounting hardware. Everything about the package scream brand spanking new except for the actual lip. Ebay seller says that this is how they come from factory. True?

After reading part of the thread it looks like they just come that way. Do you guys recommend plasti dipping before or after install. Common sense tell me before but if there is some bending, heat gun action, then maybe painting once on the car makes more sense

Mine was the same way. After some trimming of the center area, I was finally happy with the fitment but there was a huge gouge in it. Unpainted it looked ok, but just screamed cheap. A few coats of Plasti-Dip filled in the gouge and made the lip look 100x better IMO.

To answer your second question, once you have it mounted and all the holes are drilled, you could pull it off and Plasti-Dip it. I left mine on, did 2 passes on the bottom of the bumper with some blue painter tape, and put 4 coats of Dip on the lip and let it cure over night. It's so low, you'd be hard pressed to find any painting errors. You'd be more likely to notice the small fitment gaps and even that would be difficult.

It it was stated before; fit on the car and then take it off and paint it... turns out a lot better.

Just realized I jumped the gun when ordering and bought the 04-05 lip from this auction: http://www.ebay.com/itm/04-05-Subaru-Impreza-WRX-S203-CS1-V-Limited-Front-Bumper-Lip-Urethane-PU-/320995712147?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Submodel%3AWRX%7CModel%3AImpreza&hash=item4abcd5dc93&vxp=mtr

Anyone have luck installing this year lip? Or is it just 06-07?

Edit: My LGT is a 06

Apologize, is this in reference to my question regarding the 04-05 lip on the 06? The center circle is regarding the center tab or the entire raised section.

Center tab. More less for looks on the center tab.

Here's my lip from a 04-05 WRX on me 06 LGT with the photo above this thread. Took about an hour to get lined up after I cut off the extra tabs on the lip. Will be finished up being painted this is a first run on the fit. Took more screws that what came with it in the package. Had the same kind at home luckily. I screwed down the two end sections of the lip to bumper. Then secured the middle front where I would like it to end up. Then worked around making sure they were on the bumper line. Be careful to make sure you do not screw through the front of the bumper when it curves. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/07/05/e8evuju8.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/07/05/8a7y3u9u.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/07/05/py8edyme.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/07/05/sa6ybu9a.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/07/05/ugunenu2.jpg
