tito_b0y
^+1. My uncle ALWAYS has his badge on him, off-duty or not. Can't say anything about always having a gun though, but I wouldn't doubt it. 2006 SWP 3.0R 5EAT VDC BBQ 2008 OBP 2.5i 4EAT BBQ [RIP]

BrooklynBoy
Wether or not this story is certifiably 100% real doesn't matter, because the "message" is more important. This isn't science fiction, cops do drive in unmarked cars for a variety of reasons and it's just a matter of time, statistics, roll of the dice etc. until you do some stupid shit on the street and get into some bad trouble. ^^^says it all for me ! Peace, Brothers-that-are-Subaru Do it right the first time.........or don't bother doing it at all.

Benaaron87
I can agree . I was driving home one night doing 90 in a 100 kms zone and I see a vehicle moving a far bit quicker than me so I match his speed grab his plate and back off . I got to back off and call the highway patrol and just as I'm about to ring a car comes up quick on me so I het ready to speed up as he passes me and I see the police marking and he is doing 120ish to catch the other car doing roughly 130 ish . 2 kms later I see the police man has pulled him over and and arresting the kid . Red in the paper the next day that a p plater driving a modified Mitsubishi lancer caught doing 145 kms per hour and was DUI and posses of an illegal substance . I deliver pizza and pull around 1200 kms per week . Yes the police are annoying and do target people for stuff like tint or rims but if it weren't for them there would be a trebling or quadrubling of death tolls . If that were true, TINT and RIMS would be outlawed by insurance companies alone - no thanks, we wont insure you with tint and rims. OLD PEOPLE cause TONS of accidents! Maybe the police should bother them? Lets not single out specific demographics saying that they are more dangerous. I would wager that most people with tint and rims do not have power mods. I would also wager that most people with tint and rims care about their cars and dont want to wreck them. If we are going to single out specific, dangerous demographics - lets single out males under 25 driving anything over 150hp! RE: Police carring firearms off duty - If I were a police officer in a big city I would always concealed carry... Don't police make a lot of enemies over their career? Benaaron87
It was saying that they are one of the most disliked and respected prefession. Not about tint and rims . I get targeted for both and I'm 23 with a wagon so yeah

DrSpeed
You never know, there might be a cop around. LMFAO!!!!! Haha....that was his first warning. Once I read "That's 1" I knew what sort of epicness was going to take place No kidding! What a great read....haha. That's Great. LOL. I believe it too. I had a cop flash his badge at me and try to talk to me through his window on the way to work one day for passing in a no passing zone because some b*** wouldn't move out of the left lane. He told me that it was her fault for not moving. LOL. Wasn't expecting that from him. He just said don't do it again. He was off duty at the time too. in the state of WA, if someone flashes a badge at you, you are allowed to dial 911 and wait for a marked car to escort you to the side of the road, to make sure it's a legit guy in an unmarked car. I had some nut tailgate and brake check me like crazy in a pick up truck a few years ago. He then drove next to me flashing some tiny badge, and swearing at me through the window. I just ignored him and took off, Im not pulling over for anyone who looks like they have a severe case of road rage.

SasquachGT
Street racing is one of the most retarded and dangerous things one can do. I'll admit when I was younger I used to drag race sometimes, but thank God I'm glad I woke up and smelled the coffee. That said, the driving age should be at least 21.
