  1. Thanks folks - you guys are awesome. Fantastic feedback. Dropped him an email, and will follow up with a phone call.
  2. Anyone have JmP's phone or email? PM'ed here and I've not heard from him. Thanks
  3. Thanks for the feedback guys. i kind of figured as much. Seems pretty comparable to the diesel truck market...except there's let rebuilding. I'm glad you guys see what I'm driving at - looking for something reliable, not completely low buck. I thought given the age of these vehicles, there may have been an outlet for our turbos.
  4. Hey folks - 2005 LGT, 110K with OEM VF40 turbo. It wines recently until WOT acceleration - still need to pull the inlet to inspect the shaft play. Turbo is likely on its way out. So - I did some searching, and haven't found a definitive answer on turbo sources. 1. VF40 --> VF46. Want to upgrade to a better flowing turbo. Stage 1 car (intake, exhaust, tune). Figure since I had to replace the turbo anyway, might as well get a bigger one. It's a 5EAT, wife's daily, so it needs to be streetable. 2. What are you sources for a turbo that is dependable and last 40-60k, or as long as the OEM one? I've seen a few on eBay and Amazon, but I'd like to hear experiences from the experts on the forum. Thanks! 5. I got one brand new in the box, never installed.
  6. Dood, were you at Baker this weekend?
  7. Didn't notice until you said something. I think the leading edge of the left side needs to be pushed forward MOAR too...
  8. What's a knuckle extension? A Wobbly? http://www.toolguys.com/files/imagecache/product/products/KP3032006.png
  9. So, being the eternal slacker that I am, I'm now finally finding time to install this. Is there any programing or updates I need to do before installing it?
  10. How about we try to get the gauge to work with the factory O2 sensor?
  11. Hmm....if this is the case, and I cannot use the factory O2 sensor, then I might just sell mine.
  12. I don't understand how the factory narrow band O2 sensor is "not accurate" Are you saying that it's slow, has an offset/gain error, or doesn't read the range that you want it to? Running it down to 11.5 at WOT is rich enough, no? And even at that point, the car runs in open loop. Anyone have a way to tap into the factory O2 sensor? All that's needed is to reset the offset and gain on the gauge, right? Thanks. Where are you guys sourcing your wideband O2's? http://www.widebando2sensor.com/Bosch-LSU4.2-5-wire-Wideband-Oxygen-Sensor-(replacement) ?
  13. Am I missing something, or where in the manual does it say we should find the best Key on 12v, ground, 0-5 v signal for the AFR part of the gauge, and 12V signal for lights?
  14. geezus, 10 feet? Are you wrapping it around the tail light twice? Seriously...we're going from the the center of the engine, through the firewall via the fender, and into the fuse box outboard of the steering column.
  15. 1/4" tubing, plastic tee with 3 male barbs will work.
  16. Hey, anyone know what length vaccuum line is needed? Cool. Never having used one, anyone got a source?
  17. Word on the street that you are a good photographer!
  18. should have had it mailed to me. I could have walked it up by now.
  19. You're doing it wrong. We want to make money. http://www.priceisrightfail.com/price_r1_c2.png
