BadAndy
Here's a few pics of my car after replacing the stock mufflers with Summitracing.com 2 1/4" offset inlet/center outlet turbo mufflers and some 3.5" chrome tips I bought off Ebay. Total invested in exhaust = $80 I also removed the exhuast silencer yesterday and it sounds pretty good now! Not loud in the car but you can hear it when cruising for sure! I'll post a sound clip later on.... http://www.mustangmods.com/data/3665/lgt1.jpg http://www.mustangmods.com/data/3665/lgt2.jpg http://www.mustangmods.com/data/3665/lgt3.jpg

Those are the ones I used. When I first put them on they sounded pretty good but I hadn't installed the tips yet (because they didn't come on time) and the stock exhaust silencer was still in place. After putting on the tips, it quieted down a good bit because the tips are built like mini mufflers of some sort. To get the sound back I removed the silencer and man does it sound good!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's got a nice boxer rumble to it without being too loud inside the car with the windows rolled out.
BadAndy
I was hoping for some 4" tips on those.. I guess the sound is "grunty"? Keefe 4" tips would look pretty good. I didn't get them in 4" because I was afraid they would look too big and ricey....not to mention, all the 4" tips I saw looked real goofy...these tips have aprox. a 2 3/4 inlet that expands out to 3.5" and are 8" long. Yea, I guess you could say it's grunty I like it!

BadAndy
Is that muffler any good? Or is it just a bit better than stock? It's a good muffler....not the highest quality available but it's not gonna fall apart any time soon. It's a tab bit louder than the stock mufflers even with the exhaust silencer still on. Summit also sells the same muffler but in a fully polished version which is really nice but they cost about $70-$80.
